Narrator's pov.
"No pie?" Y/n asked still confused.

Y/n set the pie down on the table and quietly sat down.

"Uhm..." Clara tried to say something, but nothing came out.

Chris wiped a tear that fell from his eye and he stood up.

"I'll be going now." He said quietly and ran out of the room.

Clara sighed and stood up and chased her son while Mike sat there dumbfounded.

"Chris, we're not mad." Clara shouted as she ran.

"Lucy needs help with the child, I'm going." Taylor said awkwardly and stood up.

Taylor kissed her father's forehead before leaving.

"I'll see you girls later." Mike said and left the table.

Lauren was still shocked.

"What happened?" Y/n asked confused and frustrated.

She asked the same question before, but everybody ignored.

"Chris came out." Lauren said.

When she said it outloud, she finally snapped out of her daze.

"He's gay?" Y/n asked shocked.

"Yeah. Fuck." Lauren said and stood up.

"Whoa, where are you going?" Y/n asked standing up aswell.
"I need to talk to him." Lauren said and took a leather jacket off of the couch.

"I love you, I'll be back." Lauren said and left the house with her keys.

>Luna is now 12 and Lucas is 8
>Lauren and Y/n are now 32

Narrator's pov.
There was something wrong.

4 years have passed and it seems like the Y/l/n-Jauregui family are slowly fading away.

Lauren and Y/n knew there was something wrong.

For 2 years they kept it to themselves and they tried to continue what they used to do for the longest time.

The next 2 years after that, they talked about it.

They eventually forgot about it and spent 6 months trying to fix whatever was wrong.

Lauren was always working and was never home.

Y/n worked as an author and she was always in her office either sleeping or working on a book.

Lucas never liked Lauren and still, to this day, his only wish to the universe was a new father.

Luna was doing amazing in school and would often stay in a near library or the park to read.

The whole family worked like they weren't a family.

Lucas didn't care what was happening with the family, Luna didn't care either.

All they wanted was to finish school and start a new life.

"This is Ally Brooke in Jauregui enterprise, what can I do for you?"
"Hey Ally, I need to talk to Lauren."
"Oh hey Y/n. Yeah, I'll call her up here, just wait a second."

Silence filled Y/n's ear.

She sat there with glasses perched up on her nose and coffee mugs everywhere.

"Hello?"
"Lauren, I need you home."
"Can it wait? I'm in a meeting right now."
"No it can't wait. I'm sure you can sign artists later."
"Y/n, I can-"
"I have the papers."

There was a pause after that.

"I'll be home."

"Okay."

Most of their conversations were like that.

No I love you's.

They don't even call eachother to check up on the other person.

They only call eachother when they needed to meet or if it was about the kids.

. . . . .

An hour later, the front door opened.

Lauren saw her wife on the dining table with a bunch of papers scattered on the furniture.

"What time did it come?" Lauren asked putting her bag down and sitting next to Lauren.
"Today at 12 noon." Y/n answered and closes her laptop.

She took an envelope under the laptop and opened it.

Lauren was leaning on her chair.

"I really can't believe this is happening." Lauren said in a blunt tone.

She crossed her arms as Y/n handed her the papers.

Lauren sighed at the papers.

The first thing she saw was the post it that was placed on by Y/n's mother.

"This isn't my decision, but I'm mad at you two. Divorce is something really big. Make sure you guys know what y'all are doing."
