When I awoke the next morning, everything in my body was sore. I had no idea what caused it, but it was horrible.

Someone knocked on my door.

"Linnie?" It was a my mom. She spoke Korean to me now. "Come in, mom!" I said.

She opened the door. She had a smile on her face.

"Are you ready to go?" She asked. I was confused.

"What?" She shook her head. "School! Your first day of school!" I grunted and pulled the blanket over me.

"Mom, I feel really bad right now.." I said.

She sat on my bed. "Are you okay? I guess you could go tomorrow. But just know me and Mrs. and Mr. Jeon are going to work and can't stay home."

I nodded.

"Plus, Jungkook has school, too." She said.

I sighed, "Can't Jungkook stay at home with me?"

My mom went silent.

"I'll see.." She said. She smiled and left.

Jungkook came into my room.

"Are you okay?" He asked. "Your mom told me to visit you."

I nodded and patted the bed, and he sat.

"I feel really sore.." I said.

"It's probably just the plane ride," Jungkook replied.

He sighed, "Look, about yesterday--"

I cover his mouth with my hand, "Yesterday? What? I don't know what you're talking about."

He smiled and licked my hand.

"Ew!!" I said. I wiped my hand on his face, earning a chuckle from him. "You're disgusting."

"When you feel better, call me, okay?" Jungkook gave me a smile. "I'll try to have an excuse of leaving school early."

"Thanks, Jungkook." I said. "I really love having you as a friend."

As a friend. That was a huge slap in the face. I hated life right now.

"How about when you do call, let's go somewhere."

She looked at me funny, "Like a date?"

I hesitated at first, but nodded, "Yes."
