Chapter 31: How Far I'll Go

Heidi's POV

"I guess so, it's not my idea." I defended myself, "Just won't be the same with you not here." Harry put his forehead against mine, "I think you will find a way to occupy your time." I joked with him. "I am going to go get things ready." Uma pushed herself between Harry and I as she left the shop. "I will be lost with you around Harry." I admitted to him, Harry took my hand, "You will be great, and it won't be long before Uma and you return with the wand." I was glad he was sure, deep down I had this feeling that what Uma wanted to do wasn't right. "You're right, we will be back cause chaos before we know it." I lied a little. I started to think about what Ben said when he and I talked in the basement, about just how nice Auradon was. "You there love?" Harry asked waving hook in front of my face, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yeah, I was just thinking of something." Harry grinned at me, "Oh, how I would love to see what was going on inside the beautiful mind of yours." I shook my head as soon as his words left his mouth, "Trust me, you don't want that." Harry let out an evil laugh.

Harry and I spent the rest of the day in his room, talking, laughing, and laying with each other. "What time is it?" I asked, dreading his answer. Harry pulled out his pocket watch and checked it. "It's 11:30." He put the watch back into his pocket, "I guess I should get going." I unwrapped myself from his warm embrace, missing his warmth as soon as I stepped out of the bed. Harry let out an angry sigh and sat up in his bed. "I'll walk with you." I just nodded my head. As we started walking I noticed that neither of us were talking, I could tell us both of were feeling the same thing, sadness that we were having to say goodbye. An idea suddenly popped into my head.

Heidi: I've been standing at the edge of the water 'Long as I can remember. {Harry smiled at me, knowing that I was trying to cheer him up.} never really knowing why I wish I could be the perfect daughter {Harry gives my hand a gentle squeeze} But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try {I look up at Harry.} Every turn I take, every trail I track Every path I make, every road leads back to the place I know, where I cannot go Though I long to be {We turn down a deserted alleyway.} See the line where the sky meets the sea it calls me And no one knows, how far it goes If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go {I let go of Harry's hand and walks in front of him.} I know, everybody on this island seems so happy on this island Everything is by design I know, everybody on this island has a role on this island So maybe I can roll with mine. {I shrug my shoulder.} I can lead with pride, I can make us strong. {I take Harry's hand in mine again.} I'll be satisfied if I play along. {I let out a deep sigh.} But the voice inside sings a different song. {With my free hand I run my fingers through my hair.} What is wrong with me? {I look up at Harry.} See the light as it shines on the sea it's blinding. {I smile at Harry who returns the smile back.} But no one knows, how deep it goes {Harry twirls me around.} And it seems like it's calling out to me, so come find me {He pulls me back to his chest.} And let me know, what's beyond that line, will I cross that line? {Harry holds my hand as I start dancing on an old bench.} See the line where the sky meets the sea it calls me {I lose my footing, but Harry catches me in his arms and spins us around.} And no one knows, how far it goes {Harry dips me, both of smiling  and laughing like crazy.} If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me {Harry brings me back on my feet as we start walking again.} One day I'll know, how far I'll go, {We both stop walking just as we are about to arrive to the docks.}

"Well, I guess we are here." I said with utter sadness in my voice, "This isn't forever love." Harry said wrapping his arms around me. I wrap my arms around his shoulders, I didn't want to let him go. Our blissful hug came to an end as Harry pulled out of it and took a step back, and started rubbing the back of his neck. "I have something for you." Harry said, I could swear that Harry Hook was nervous. "Heidi, I know we aren't really dating yet, but I would love it if accepted this ring as a reminder that someone somewhere does love you." Harry pulled off one of the rings that he was wearing,

he put it between his fingers and held it out to me. "Harry, it would be an honor to wear your ring." I took the ring and slipped it on my ring finger. Harry took my face in his hands pressing his lips to mine. I didn't have to think as I started kissing him back. After a few minutes, we pulled apart. "I should get going, I am already late." I kisses Harry lips one more time before I made my way onto the docks, halfway there I turned around to see Harry standing there. I wiped a tear from my eye and I turn back around making my way to meet up with Uma.
