School has started back for me so updates are going to be a little harder to do. But I'll try to get them up as fast and as soon as I can.

Maya quietly closed the door trying not to wake Riley up as she finally had gotten home a little past midnight. She threw her heels in a corner of the room somewhere and attempted to change clothes in the dark. That was until Riley had turned on the lamp beside her bed. Maya looked over at Riley like a deer caught in the headlights as she only had her t shirt half over her head.

"Well, well, well just look what we have here." Riley said smirking making Maya roll her eyes and finished putting on her t shirt.

"It's not that big of a deal." Maya said making Riley's eyes widen.

"Not a big deal?!" She gasped as she got out of her bed. "Maya it's a huge deal! You were out almost all night with a boy!" Riley said as she stood in front of Maya.

"Nothing happened we just talked!" Maya argued with her as she put her shorts on and started to hang her dress up in her closet.

"Please, Maya. No girl goes out with a boy and stays out this late unless something did happen." Riley said thinking she was going to catch Maya in something. Maya rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"Well nothing did happen. We talked, that's all we did." Maya looked over to see Riley's eyes were huge. "I'm serious that's all we did! Look I was just as shocked as you were. I thought he was going to take me out and try a move and then we'd end up making out the rest of the night but he really just wanted to talk and get to know me better. He's an amazing guy Riley." Riley smiled at Maya's happiness.

"So does this mean you're officially over uncle Josh?" Riley asked as she sat down on her bed making Maya sit down beside her. Maya immediately frowned at the mention of Josh.

"I saw Josh at the restaurant tonight with Adrianna. I expected to be angry and upset, but instead it's like I didn't even care. All I cared about was Simon. I don't think I'll ever be officially over Josh I mean he was my first love, but I think I'm ready to move on and I think I did that tonight." Maya answered making Riley give her a look.

"What do you mean you've already done that?" Maya smiled.

"Simon asked me to be his girlfriend tonight, I said yes." Riley's mouth dropped.

"Are you sure that's what you want?" She asked making Maya nod.

"Yeah I think it is, and I think I'm ready to be friends with Josh too. In fact I'll talk to him tomorrow." Maya said making Riley's face go into concern.

"Are you sure that's a good idea, Maya? I mean he admitted he still had feelings for you." Riley said making Maya frown.

"Yeah but he didn't act on them. He told me he still liked me but then he didn't do anything to back it up. I'm not just going to sit around and wait for when he does, I needed to move on and that's exactly what I did."

"Are you saying that if Josh would have broken up with Adrianna after he told you that he liked you, you wouldn't be going out with Simon now?" Riley asked making Maya look down.

"I don't know. But it doesn't matter anymore because I'm with Simon and he's with me, we make each other happy." Riley reluctantly nodded her head as Maya got up to get in her own bed.

"If you're sure." Riley mumbled as they both pulled down the covers and got underneath them. Suddenly it dawned on Maya.

"Wait Riley, you said that no girl can go out with a guy and stay out with a guy this late unless they were doing something."Maya stated making Riley nod her head.

"Yeah so." Maya started smirking.

"So what do you and huckleberry do?" Maya asked. Suddenly there was silence.

"Goodnight Maya!" And with that the light turned off.

Josh sighed as he wiped his sweaty hands on his jeans. He stood outside the door of Adrianna's hotel room fixing to knock. He felt bad for what he was about to do but he knew that it's the right thing to do. Josh knocked himself for not doing it earlier. Now there was a bunch of people they had to call to tell them that the wedding was off. Josh shook his head of all his thoughts and knocked on the door. After the third knock the door swung open and there stood a teary faced looking Adrianna. Suddenly Josh started to feel guilty.

"Are you okay?" He asked awkwardly as he stood there looking at her. Adrianna sniffled and shook her head.

"My grandmother had a heart attack and died this morning. I just found out about it." She cried making Josh's loving side take over. He stepping into the room and pulled her into his arms.

"I'm so sorry." He said as she clung onto his shirt and cried.

"I knew she was having health problems but I didn't think she would die. I didn't even get to say goodbye." Josh sighed as he held her in his arms. He also sighed when he realized he was holding her and it was the first time he didn't feel attracted to her.

"It's going to be okay. She knew you loved her, Adrianna." Josh told her making her nod.

"I know, I just really wanted her there at our wedding." Josh's heard immediately tinged at the thought of what he was about to do. "So before I got this call I went shopping for invitations and I got these." Adrianna said as she broke away from Josh to go get the samples off her desk. Josh sighed and shook his head.

"Adrianna we need to talk." He said but it was like she just kept ignoring him.

"So there just samples but I thought that we could look at them together to decided. Of course me getting the final say so." Adrianna finished.

"Adrianna, please this is important." Josh said once again.

"Look before you say whatever you have to say I want to say something first." She said turning towards Josh. Josh sighed but nodded for her to continue. "I wanted to say that all is forgiven for the way you treated me on our date last night. If it's one thing from my grandmothers passing it's that we can't spend whatever time we have left on this world mad at each other. I love you and you love me and that's what should really matter. I'm so glad that I have you to lean on in this horrible time of my grandmother passing. Now what was it that you wanted to say?" Josh was miserable. There was no way he could break up with her after hearing that he would be so cold hearted.

"Just that... I really like the sample on the left." He said sighing as he pointed to the invitation. Adrianna smiled and threw herself in his arms. Josh sighed and hugged her back.
