Chapter 24 Recap

"Blade promise me you will believe me" I just couldn't bear to see the disbelief on Blade's face, the only person that I had ever let into all my secrets the only person I let into my heart in fifteen years.

"Caramel you know what ever you say I would believe, come on baby you trust me don't you? I love you" He touched my face cupping my face in his hands

"tell me" he pleaded "please," his face looked so vulnerable.

"I trust you Blade, it's not her that I trust if I tell you I don't know what she will do" I clutched his shirt pulling him back towards me he wrapped me up in his arms again.

"Who is she?" His voice sounded angry,

Chapter 25

"Lucinda!" Mathew yelled stamping up the stairs, he came to a stop at the top step clutching the banister, for support taking deep breaths, "she's dead she had a heart attack!" Mathew practically yelled at us.

It took me a few seconds to register what Mathew yelled, Lucinda was dead, she was the only person with the antidote to get rid of the poison and she was dead. I started to shake with rage; she probably killed herself just to make my life more difficult. "That bitch, how dare she?" I screamed at the top of my lungs I wanted to strangle the old hag.

"Caramel?" Blade looked at me astonished he pulled me away from him looking at my face like he never heard me correctly.

"Blade it's her, Lucinda. That's why I'm not happy it's all her, it's all her fault. My life has been such a misery she killed my parents Blade, she killed them she killed everyone on that flight expect for me and my pregnant mother!" I held on to Blade's arms looking at his face which had gone extremely pale he pulled himself away from me standing up and taking a step back shaking his head, at that point everything inside me shattered he didn't believe me he didn't trust me like I had thought tears fell from my eyes my heart ached he pulled himself away from me.
