[harry’s pov]

Everything went quiet. Only her words were repeated over and over inside of me. In every part of me. They were my new heart beat. I lifted my head seeking her eyes which were my only truthness. Feeling breathless. Small imperfections created by the chills covered my body; only the parts being touch by her were still smooth and calm. The rest was still not quite believing.

My eyes travelled up over the constellation seated on my lap with that dazzling scent of lavender making me dizzy; my eyes took in all the beauty on the way like a stargazer lost in the view of the night sky. I could look for years and still find them things to awe at. That curve between her collarbone and neck, the tiny supernova displayed as a patch of purple that I had given her on the milky fair skin. My eyes travelled up her jaw which had the line left by a shooting star, and licked over the sight of her pink full lips which were like the edge of the universe; my eyes found their way up over her beautifully blushed cheek bones that seemed powdered with the glowing feeling inside of me that just kept growing. It felt like every star of the galaxy was trapped in my chest. And finally; finally my eyes found the view of my Northern star in the chaos of the night. With their rare gleam a perfect mix of green and blue. In the chaos of passion and bafflement and disbelieve; I found her eyes.

They whispered me a poem of surprise and love, which I adored every word of though it might have started out a little baffled. But the way she stayed right there; so close to me with her warm hands on my chest, her body providing my lap with gentle warmth, and her eyes only inches from mine. I wanted to be hers. I could perfectly read the meaning and message of that poem her eyes told me; she really did love me and all my flaws. I couldn’t believe it but her eyes didn’t lie.

“How can a star fall in love with a simple stargazer?” The mumbled words stumbled out of my mouth before I could stop my silly lips and stupid thoughts. Before my craving lips would reveal anything else that could kill the light she glowed with; they followed the direction of my heart, which with each beat was reaching out after her.

My blazing lips brushed against hers which she parted immediately as a soft gasp escaped. For how long had I not been watching the pitch black night sky not even daring to believe nor dream? But now. Now when the taste of her love lingered on my tongue never to be forgotten; I had to be dreaming. I had to.

My hand found hers on my chest and I took the jewelry she had freed me from. Carefully releasing the tightly clenched grip of hers. Her lips travelled down over my exposed neck as my fingertips easily freed her from the slender ring she always wore, while she kept promising my skin that she loved me - now bravely like she couldn’t say it enough. My breathing kept growing heavier as her lips and mouth found every sensitive secret of my skin. Nothing could be kept in darkness.

“Harry?” Her words were muffled and came out as hot air against a spot on my skin, which was wet from her kisses. I hummed in response not able to form actual words, as her hands were teasing the bond of skin just above the waistline of my jeans.

“You’re,” she placed a soft kiss on my collarbone, “not,” another where my heart was ought to be, “a simple,” she pushed me back on the mattress and leaned in to kiss the side of my ribcage, “stargazer.”

I let the jewelry in my one hand fall to the floor over the edge of the mattress, as she leaned in over my chest. I tried fighting the beam which sneaked closer, but Amber defeated it for me with placing another kiss on my craving burning lips; “I’m pretty sure you’re a fucking angel.” Her words were accompanied by a sweet crooked smile aimed only at me, as I could feel her fingertips fight a brave battle with my belt in the War of Fabrics, which she had become my alley in. I couldn’t possibly hold it back; a beam of mine grew into place as deep chuckles vibrated through my chest and a scream escaped her lips, as I surprised her yet again with rolling us both over.
