Hearing those words made Jennie's heart thump.

Saying those words made Yoongi nervous but excited.

"No."

"That's gre-wait what?"

"I-i can't."

Hearing those words made Yoongi sorrowful.

Saying those words made Jennie's heart drop.

"But why no-not?" Yoongi was ultimately confused, he was for sure she liked him back.

Maybe even a little bit more than like...

"Yoongi..." Jennie started but stopped, a tear fell from Yoongi's eye. She turned her head and bit her lip, Jennie hated when people cried and especially when it was someone she cared for.

"I'm just not ready to be in a relationship..." Jennie told him, but it was more like she was trying to tell herself that. Why was she even saying no? She didn't understand it herself.

"You can't play with people's feelings like that! I thought you actually liked me, Jennie!" Yoongi choked out, he tried coming out strong but instead, he just sounded small and weak.

"Yoongi please don't cry, I did like you!"

"Did? Why not now? What did I do? I can change for you, Jennie!" Yoongi tried with her but she just shook her head.

"It's not you-"

"Don't! Don't use that lame line on me that's overused!" Yoongi wiped his tears and fixed his posture. He was done looking weak in front of her.

"Actually, I'm okay with it." Yoongi put on a blank face. No more crying, no more begging, no more emotions.

Just blank.

"Yoongi I'm sor-"

"Jennie please..."

"O-okay..."

Yoongi turned around and took a deep breath, he started walking towards the ocean. He wasn't going to let a girl he met in a club that played with his feelings ruin him. Yoongi was not about to become depressed over a girl he...fell...for. He turned back around to see Jennie on the phone.

"I can drive you home, you know?"

"Yes...but I don't think that's a good idea. I'll just take an Über."

"Jennie..."

"Yoongi really! It's fine!" She snapped back which made him flinch.

Jennie's face became soft and regretted snapping at him, she just wanted to be alone at this point.

"F-fine. Just text me when you get home safe." Yoongi whispered and walked back to the ocean.

Jennie couldn't believe he still cared for her, even after all of that. Yoongi was truly something else, that's why she feels something for him.

10 minutes later, her ride finally appears and she takes one last look at Yoongi. He was still staring out at the ocean, he almost looked peaceful, but Jennie knows better. He was hurt because of her and she couldn't stand it, so she got in the car and didn't look back.

"Date gone wrong?" The driver looked in his rear-view mirror and cocked his eyebrow.

"I guess that's one way you can put it..." Jennie mumbled and rested her head onto the window. All she needed right now was silence and sleep, which she can both get in the car.

Slowly, she starts to drift off, not thinking about anything but Yoongi. Why did she say no?
