I woke up before Ace as usual so I went ahead and completed my hygiene routine. It was only seven o'clock and I knew he wouldn't be up for a couple more hours. I couldn't cook or do anything so I decided to go right back to walmart.
Grabbing Ace's keys off the floor I left out the door. Taking another route I went down the elevator on the opposite end and it brought me down to a nice main lobby.
"Goodmorning ma'am." A man spoke as he swept
"Goodmorning." I said leaving out the automatic doors that I seen leading to the parking garage. Once I was in the car I realized I had left my phone upstairs but Im sure I wouldn't need it so I went ahead and pulled out the parking garage.
It was only 8am on a saturday and Atlanta traffic was already outrageous! Luckily I was getting off at the next exit so I wouldn't have to sit in the mess for a long time.
I mentally made a list of all the things I would need so I could get in and out of this store. Thankfully this place was a lot closer to stores so it wouldn't take me forever to get somewhere.
Pulling up to Walmart I turned the car off and grabbed my wristlet putting it on as I got out the car.
As I was walking into the store I grabbed the cart and went inside going straight to the kitchen section. While on my way to the back I passed the produce section so I grabbed a bag of grapes and started eating them.
Walking down the aisle with the pots and pans I was debation on wether I should get the black or red ones.
"Hmm Ace seems more like an all black kind of guy." I said grabbing the box putting it in the car. At the end of the aisle I seen the forks, spoons, and knives so I grabbed those as well.
By the time I was done I had everything he would need for the kitchen as some stuff for me as well. Apparently my mental list went out the window as soon as I hit the door. Luckily for me I came early when most people don't come to the store so the lines were short and my transaction was completed quickly.
After loading all of the things into the back of the truck I shut the down the glass.
"Hey are you done with this?" An older lady asked referring to the cart.
"Oh yeah go ahead."
"Thank you baby have a nice day."
"Same to you." I said walking around to the drivers side.
Looking down at the time I seen I had only been gone for a little under two hours. Based off how long I'd usually be stuck in Walmart for practically nothing I was doing good.
Hearing a vibration noise coming from the armrest as I stopped at the light I opened it to see a phone that was still ringing. Seeing the name Ma flash across the screen I assumed it was Ms. Pat and answered it.
"Abdul I have been calling you since yesterday where have you been!" She ranted as I held the phone to my ear.
"Hey Ms. Pat this is actually kamille."
"Well excuse me. A
m I missing something miss lady? How come your answering my sons phone at this time of morning?"
"Um" I said laughing nervously "He left his phone in my car I um-"
"Mhm. Just tell him to call me back okay?"
"Yes ma'am" I said before she ended the call.
Pulling up to the building I parked in the parking garage and went around to go inside the building.
