|    Warning: Your boyfriend's a flirt. It's okay, he only flirts with you.   |

Something woke you up and then you realized it was Sam, whispering near your ear and rubbing your shoulder. You had fallen asleep holding Steve's hand, your head resting on the bed near your hands. "Come on, you take a break," he said. "You have visitors out in the hallway."

You smiled at Sam and limped off with a half-asleep foot, already seeing through the window that Natasha and Wanda were standing in the hallway waiting for you. Turning back to look at Steve, you saw that he was still asleep and you were thankful. You waved goodbye to Sam and motioned with your hand to your ear like a phone in case he needed you.

"Sam told us," Natasha said to you.

"We're worried about you," Wanda said. "We're taking you to lunch."

"Before you argue, we're only going ten minutes away and Sam already knows so he will call if they need you," Natasha said. She reached out to grab your hand. Wanda slipped her arm behind your other arm.

"I have your purse," Wanda said.

Inside Natasha's car, she said, "So he knows now?"

"Yes, he knows," you said, you couldn't help but smile. "A lot has happened since yesterday... I'm sorry I didn't keep you girls up to date. Everything happened kind of fast."

"We voted you out of the group, you can't sit with us," Wanda said, jokingly.

"Yeah, and on Wednesdays, we wear pink," Natasha said, giving you a wink.

As you let out a little laugh, you took note of how much better you felt. Things felt like they were falling into place.

At the restaurant, you got to fill them in on everything that had happened since yesterday.

"You must be exhausted..." Natasha said.

"I should be, I suppose," you said. "But I'm also excited. Unless something drastically goes wrong with the next procedure and his memory gets worse, I have Steve back either way." You looked out the window for a second. "He said he doesn't remember before but he's falling in love with me all over again."

Natasha and Wanda looked at each other, they were happy for you and you could tell.

"It's so strange not having the two of you around lately," Wanda said. "I'll be happy when you're both back."

"He gave me a little kiss this morning," you said, smiling again. "He acted like it was totally normal and when I got out in the hallway, I saw him through the glass and he almost started laughing in front of Bruce and Reed."

"Awwwwww," Natasha and Wanda both said.

"Oh, I miss him so much," you said. "We're not out of the woods yet but things feel much better."

Back at the sick bay, Steve was awake and sitting up with Sam when you arrived. He was dressed in a t-shirt and sweatpants now.

"How are you feeling?" you asked, excitedly.

"Much better," he smiled, reaching out his hand for you to come closer. "How's my best girl?"

"What if we're all lying to you and I'm not your best girl?" you laughed.

"I don't think so," he grinned, pulling you down to sit next to him.

"I tried to warn him," Sam joked. "This one's a handful, Steve."

Steve rubbed his hand over your back and looked at you. "Bruce and Reed both went to go get some sleep. The surgeon is coming in tonight and has to be gone by the morning... so they're going to do the removal tonight."
