"Hold on. Are you all crazy?" The exasperated look that she gave Roman should have been enough to wither any smart remark. Roman's look was one that spoke of great determination. The glaring man just scoffed.

"No. We are quite sane." His matter of fact tone sounded like nails on a chalkboard to Lillian's ears.

"When is all this supposed to happen?" A smirk spread across his face told her everything she needed to know.

"Soon." His answer didn't have but a moment to hang in the air before Mia smacked him in the back of the head. The flinch and sudden gasp that came from him was a sight to see. The way they interacted with each clearly showed how fond of each other they were. Mia was interrupted from furthering her attack on her bother as the glaring man decided to speak up.

"So, we are to depend on this useless woman for saving the entire world? You've got to be kidding me!?" He scoffed as he stood and walked out of the dining hall, mumbling to himself.

"Please excuse Mayken. He is still new to our ways, just as you are. He is a rescue from one of our missions, so he is still very young, in a manner of speaking." As he finished, Mia smacked him on the back of the head again not skipping a beat.

"Forgive my idiot of a brother. He doesn't think before he speaks." Standing up from the table, Mia moved around Roman to grab Lillian's hand before dragging her through the dining hall. The stares of the occupants still insistent but warmed with the actions of Mia.

The darkness loomed over him as glared at the door, growling as the keys jingled as the locks turned. Glowing green eyes watched intently as the door swung open, harsh light flooding into the dank cell. He lunged at the shadow of the man in the doorway, snarling for him to come closer. A chuckle echoed across, assaulting the imprisoned man ears.

"I have found her. The one your wolf is howling for." The prisoners heart sank as he stared, all the air being sucked out of his lungs.

"She has nothing to do with you!" The snarl ripped from the man mouth as he bared his fangs, a crazed look casting a shadow over his face.

"Oh, but you are so wrong on that. She has everything to do with what I have in store for you." Cackling, the intruder walked further into the room stopping just out of reach. "She will be your kind's very demise as I dangle her in front of you as she destroys everything you love. It starts with you." Bright Emerald eyes gleamed at the chained man as he slumped against the wall, weaken from hunger, but his eyes never wavering in the promise they held.
