Good Morning. Today is April 9, 1973 and welcome to the seven o'clock news. Let's jump right into today's stories.
Today Congress meets with Dr. Bolivar Trask, a biological scientist, genetics specialist, and inventor to discuss possible future defenses against mutants, a sub-species of humans with enhanced abilities. Trask is proposing a defense plan involving Sentinels, polymer-based machines equipped to combat a wide variety of different mutant capabilities. If the plan is approved by Congress, we may being seeing these machines in action soon and further mandatory identification of all mutants. What will the future hold for humans and mutants alike?
