  Hours have passed and it was now midnight, Wirt and (Y/n) finished tucking every children to their beds with the other nuns. Somehow Wirt felt really strange at (Y/n)'s behaviour ever since they went inside the Orphanage. She wasn't in her cocky and playful attitude that Wirt used to know.

   Instead, she was in a nervous, shy and quiet side which made him feel weirded out. He's not used to this (Y/n) right now and he have to do something. Whether she's mad at him or not, he's going to atleast ask. After (Y/n) gave Thompson(one of the children in the Orphanage) a goodnight kiss, Wirt watched her turn off the lantern and get out of the children's bedroom.

"Are they all asleep?" Wirt asked, giving her a smile.

"Yeah." She said, avoiding eye -contact.

  Wirt waited patiently as they both walk downstairs, before they would go to sleep, they decided to atleast talk about plan for tomorow. So they went inside the room where there is a fire lit at the chimney.

"Ok, I guess lets check the map for tomorow. So we wont be having some tough luck." (Y/n) clapped her hand by the time she sat down to a couch. The omly source of light was the fire itself. Everyone was asleep tho they're not sure for the nuns.

"Uhh, (Y/n), before that, I wanna ask you something." Wirt take out a deep breath before letting it out, making her raise her eyebrow in confusion.

"Are you mad at me fr-from yesterday, you kn-know at night?" He shut his eyes close and wait for the answer.

" . . . . Actually," (Y/n) started as she let out a sigh. "Yes." Ouch. That made Wirt feel a bit worse for himself.

"Then why are you acting like your not mad at me today?" Wirt curiously asked.

Waiting for her answer, Wirt shifted his sit from the other side of the couch and looked at her. He was trying his best not to offend or hurt (Y/n) since he dont want that.

She crossed her arms. "Because, its kind of worthless to act like a big snob especially if we have important things to do so I just act like nothing happen." Brutally true but Wirt kind of appreciate it that she's tellimg the truth instead of lying.

"Well, I'm really sorry for that I uhh didn't know." He apologized.

"Keep it for later, Wirt." (Y/n) coldly stated and sighed. "Is that all?" She asked.

When that question pass through Wirt's ears, images of (Y/n)'s odd atitude appeared in his head immediately, remembering his curiousity from earlier.

"Actually yes." He admitted and swallowed a knot in his neck. "You seem a bit odd ever since we got here. Especially when it comes to those nuns." He finally let it out.

  Another sigh. (Y/n) noticed she's been sighing today, well she can't blame it. It was a hard day for her. She take a look at Wirt who seems eagerly and determined to listen to her answer. She could laugh at the sight right now but she has to keep it to herself.

"Why do you wanna know? Will you even believe me to what I'm about to say?" She asked, testing him.

"Of course, thats because I trusted you." He smile.
