I woke up with a gasp. Until I remember that I'm in the auditorium.

Wait. That means.

I look to the digital board and see the time I took 15 minutes. That's one of the fastest times yet! Then I look over at the number of fears. 3. I have the lowest amount of fears in the dauntless compound. I get up out of my seat and go out the door we came in. I head straight for the stairs with a jump in my step. I go to the mess hall and grab a sandwich before finding myself a seat. Barely anyone is here since most people will be at work. All I can think about is that last fear. Once I finish my sandwich I go back out to the pit which is a bit more lively since most initiates have completed their fear landscape.

I wonder who I can annoy.
Uriah is at school.
Mom and zeke are at work.
Four and lauren are observing fear landscapes.
Shauna is off work at the moment.

I start to make my way towards her apartment when my path is blocked by lauren and four. Who both look I intimidating yet proud at the same time. They stare at me for about 40 seconds whilst I'm just confused and freaked out.

"Can I help you. I'm kinda in the middle of something." I tell them uneasily.

"Whatever it is will have to wait." Lauren speaks smugly. Whilst fours grin just grows.

"Why. I was going to annoy Shauna." I try to persuade them.

"Tough. Although I would love to watch that, someone wants to speak to you so follow us." Four simply says. Him and lauren take off with me following closely behind. They take a few turns until they go into a corridor I didn't know existed.

"Where are we." I ask four and lauren.

"Let's just say somewhere very important." Four vaguely tells me.

"If you guys are trying to kill me I swear to god...." I go to continue but lauren cuts me off.

"We're not trying to kill you. But we're here." Lauren says before suddenly stopping outside a door alongside four. She opens the door and walks in. Four then motions me to follow her.

When I walk through the door all eyes are on me. In front of me sits my faction leaders and Jeanine.

"Ari. Please take a seat." Eric tells me formally. I follow his orders and sit in between four and lauren.

"Firstly we would like to congratulate you on your time and your amount of fears in the fear landscape." Max starts off.

"Thank you. Is that why I'm here." I reply and ask.

"No. We want to talk about something else." Angel tells me with a stern look on her face.

Uh oh

"Look. I'm really sorry but it wasn't my idea. I was the victim. It was Michaels prank and then ailie got the worms and she gave them to me and I was shocked and it just kind of happened. I didn't mean for them to go in the spaghetti. And know I'm paying the consequences because now we only get spaghetti once every two weeks. But I'd just like to tell you that it was an accident and it was really Micheal but Micheal is now a candor and that I would really love if we brought spaghetti back every Friday like it used to be." I ramble whilst looking at my lap.

The room grew quiet and when I look up I see that Jeanine has a look of horror on her face. Lauren, four, Eric and Angel are trying to hold back their laughs. John has a smirk on his face whilst max just looks dumbfounded.

All of a sudden Angela giggles escape from her mouth. "That wasn't what we were going to say." She continues to laugh.

"Oh." Was all that came out.

"We would like to discuss your initiation." John states. All I can do is nod my head after that embarrassing moment.

"During the first stage you were the top of your year. You took on all the challenges that we threw at you and you excelled in all of them. Then for your second stage which was your singular fears you started off at third. The only people in front were rea and Rita. You had to go through the pain from being attacked by your friends because of them being monsters. From that situation, how do you feel about them?" Max asks. Jeanine then brings out a notepad and is about to start writing down.

"Well obviously at the time I was shocked. I mean divergents were just a myth that would go around at school. Not fitting in, the fact that they'd kill so they could survive. And then the fact that my supposed best friends were them that proceeded to kill me. It was overwhelming." I conclude.

"Thank you. You're free to go." Angel tells me. I stand up then push my chair in and basically sprinting to the door.
