"Woah," Jenna says, looking at the man on the stage, "he's hot!" she adds.
I roll my eyes. This is exactly why he was dead in the first place.
The song ends and the man runs a hand through his black quiff. Twirling the microphone in his slender fingers. The audience cheers.
"Thank you," Brendon says, bowing then going to the back of the stage.
Jenna picks up her long gown slightly and begins to walk that way, but I quickly grab her arm.
"Slow down, Jenna. We have to approach this in a normal manner. Just trust me, okay?"
Jenna nods.
A couple begins to walk our way. I quickly wrap my arm around Jenna's small waist. She tenses but relaxes once she realizes what it is I'm trying to do.
I pick up a random glass of champagne and clamp it with the mans. He grins and wraps his arm around his companion's waist. Jenna and the brunette smile at one another.
"What a lovely wedding," I said, looking around, "weddings always put a sense of happiness into the air, you know?"
The man nods, "Agreed. My wife and I were friends with the bride and groom for a long while."
"That's good to hear," I stick my hand out towards the blonde man, "I'm Cameron, and you are?"
The man shakes my hand, "My name is Lucas, and it's nice to meet you.""Well Lucas, my wife and I better go compliment the singer on his wonderful voice. Say, have you heard anything of him?"
To my left, Jenna and Lucas's wife, Georgia, begin to talk about the bride's dress. I hug Jenna's waist a bit tighter, silently telling her that she was doing great.
"Ah, Brendon Urie. Singer of Panic! At The Disco. One of my favorite bands," Lucas says, happily. "He's been through a lot before he began singing, but he's amazing."
That's good to know.
I nod, "It was nice talking to you, Lucas."
I gently took Georgia's hand in mine and kissed her knuckles, "And your wife is very beautiful."
Lucas and Georgia smile at one another and share a small kiss.
"Same to you, Cameron," Lucas says, giving Jenna a smile. Which she kindly does back.
The couple begins to walk the other way and talk to the groom. Which Jenna and I really didn't know, but of course we didn't tell Lucas and his wife that. And I made up a name, as you could tell. I didn't want Lucas to notice who I was and start screaming for his life.
After about thirty minutes of talking to people, we finally made it back stage.
We slowly opened the door and hid behind a curtain as Brendon was packing up and singing to himself at the same time.
"Tell me what you want, what you really really want.
Oh I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want.
Yeah, tell me what you want. What you really really want.
I wanna! I wanna! I wanna- Ow!" Brendon sang, twerking as he did so. Then he knocked his forehead on a shelf as he went to pick up his bag.Jenna laughed, then both our eyes went wide when it suddenly became quiet.
"Who's there?" Brendon asked, cautiously.
I shook my head at Jenna and put my finger over my lips. She nodded and bit her lip to keep from talking.
"If you want an autograph then come get it! No need to hide from my sexiness!" Brendon said, licking his finger then touching his butt while making a 'sizzle' sound.
Then, Jenna couldn't hold it in anymore. She laughed loud. Really loud.
I face palmed.
"Aha!" Brendon yelled as he pulled back the curtain that we were hiding behind.
He started at us for a moment. His eyes looking to mine, then Jenna's. Then, he let out the most high-pitched scream that a grown man could ever let out.
Crap.
