mingyu decided that today was the day to do it.

it was now or never.

he needed to confess to wonwoo.

even if he got turned down.

but he shouldn't get turned down.

it was lunch by the time mingyu got the courage to confess to mingyu.

that day, mingyu got to the tree earlier than wonwoo did.

"oh. you're here early."

"yep. hey um....can we talk?"

"about?"

"us."

"what?"

"the soulmates thing."

"oh....well what about it?"

mingyu took a deep breath before starting again.

"i know you don't want anything to do with me relationship wise....or at all. but....i've developed really strong feelings for you. and although you probably won't accept me, i just want you to know..that i really liked you."

and for the first time in a long time, wonwoo smiled.

he went on his top toes (because mingyu is tall af) and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.
