In this world there only a few things that can hurt us,
And those things can truly drive us nuts.
What hurts the most is never trying your out most best,
Because the shear regret never seems to rest.
What can hurt even more is never letting people in,
Because you fear they'll pierce you with pins.
It's even more childish and strange to just stay quiet,
Because to others bottling it all doesn't seem quit alright.
What can hurt the most is what you do to you,
Those horrible things that leave you feeling blue.
We always complain that it's there words that leave us troubled,
We complain that it's them leaving us so crumbled.
But quiet now and lend me your ear,
For I will tell you something to erase the fear.
Simply don't let what they say force you shrink,
Because you shrinking will lead you to sink.
