I was pregnant. I started to remember that Lucas didn't wrap up when we had sex.
"Miss Wilkey, I'm going to have you take a pregnancy test because the symptoms you say you're getting, are the symptoms of pregnancy." The doctor says.
I just stare at her and keep silent.
"Uh, okay. Yeah, sure." I say nervously. "Will Lucas leave me if I was pregnant?" I think to myself. I start to have these terrible thoughts in my head about the worst possibilities if I was pregnant.
"Here's your test. Just go into that room right there to your left, and pee on the test."
"Okay." I say walking into the small, dirty bathroom.
I pee on the stick and I try to calm myself down and hope for the best.
The Results
I'm waiting out in the lobby room petrified, waiting for the doctor to call my name to see the results. The test only took 15 minutes to activate so i didn't need to come back the next day.
"Porsha Wilkey!" The doctor comes out.
I get out of my seat and head into the doctors room. I sit down on the chair shaking my leg back in forth in a nervous gesture. "According to the test results, you.......
