Hello, everybody. So yes, as you can see from the title I have decided to make a whole series for my thoughts and theories on fandoms. What better way to kick it off than to talk about the newest Sanders Sides video? I'll put the link below

Okay, so where do I begin? How about the beginning!
In a way, the intro part for me was reminiscent of the intro for Accepting Anxiety. I could tell that something was up and my predictions were confirmed. Since Virgil appeared first, and seemed very concerned, I can tell that he has a very prominent role in this arc, and I mean more than usual. I wondered what Logan meant by 'preoccupied'. I thought maybe it was like that time in the Anxiety v. Logic video where Roman was 'bruised' and Patton took care of him but they were in the video.
Speaking of Patton, here's an important thing. His first line is literally that he's sad and Logan does not notice. He only notices the cat onesie! I mean, Patton just kinda put it out there that he was sad but nobody noticed. Roman also seemed a bit off. The brainstorming just didn't seem to be working. I don't know much about Guys and Dolls but I can tell that it's impactful and important when it's brought up. Also the references made me love the video "a bushel and a peck."
So, thinking that a trip down memory lane will help, they go to Patton's room but wait. Patton is unsure about taking the others there so I thought that it's not all "sunshine and rainbows." Virgil and Patton were the only ones unsure of it and Logan realized that something was up a little too late. Patton's room is bright and kind-of aesthetic-y. The nostalgia there brought back memories for me.
Okay. Now let's talk even more important things. What's happening to Virgil? I think that Patton's room is 'corrupting' him. The problem: no one else wants to leave except for Logan, and he does. After Patton tells him to 'stop'. Now, I've seen theories that this means that Logan will 'clock out' and I see it happening. If that is the case, I feel like Virgil will have to act as the voice of reason, but wait. Since Virgil doesn't seem to be doing well and seems more heightened, he might not be in shape to provide that voice. So that would leave Thomas, Roman, and Patton reminiscing about the past while Virge slowly gets worse.
Like I mentioned earlier, I don't think that Patton's room is all pure happiness. I think is showing (because of how Virgil's being affected) and I think it'll show more in the second part. Another thing that I think will happen is that Patton will let out how he feels. He said he was sad and nobody noticed and was basically pressured into taking the others to his room, and I think that Logan getting upset and yell at him put him over the edge. If this does happen and the others realize how he has been feeling, than they may be able to leave and realize that the 'corruption' is happening, causing them to leave, and in a way making Patton the voice of reason.
This leaves a few more issues. The first one I'm going to discuss is Logan's possible 'clocking out'. Without logic, nothing would make sense anymore and I feel like this effect would be much worse than when Virgil clocked out. In Accepting Anxiety, only Thomas was affected while Logan, Roman, and Patton were trying to figure it out. I'll go through the effects without Logic piece by piece.
Without Logic, creativity has no bounds. Roman could conjure up some amazing, whimsical idea but there would be nobody there to draw the line between rational/plausible and irrational/not plausible. This could lead to irrational, potentially dangerous decisions and this could cause Virgil to work overtime. Logic can also balance out with emotions so I think that this could lead to Patton being more emotional than usual and I'm talking about 10 times more emotional. This could all loop back because when these changes lead to a bigger problem, starting the whole brainstorming, working overtime, emotions, ectetra. In Accepting Anxiety, when Virgil clocked out, Thomas seemed more careless, reckless, and a little too fearless. If Logan really is clocking out, then "heckity heck," the effect will be crazy.
The other issue is about what is up with Roman. I think that he's being affected by this too. He seems unsure of himself for me. Like I said earlier. His brainstorming just isn't working out. When he shares his ideas and the others are just like "no" his immediate reaction is "I'M JOKING!" This tells me that he's unsure because he doesn't back up his idea. He immediately puts it off as a joke as soon as the idea gets shut down. I think that he's losing confidence.
I'm going to leave this here because this has gotten long. I'd love to hear your thoughts and I'm very excited for part 2. That's it for now and I'll see you guys next time.
