Cordelia had no idea what was being said. She couldn't keep her focus on one thing long enough to comprehend it before someone else started speaking. So she decided just to turn out everything and if anyone needed anything from her, oh well.

"What do you think, Dels?" Pierce asked, instantly pulling her out of her thoughts. "What do I think about what?" She asked, cluelessly. There was a small ripple of chuckles. "Sorry." Cordelia blushed. "I couldn't keep up."

"It's okay, babe." Pierce smiled and reached under the table to grab Cordelia's hand. "We were talking about getting rid of the prison. We have no use for it now." Pierce said. "And since you're luna, you have a say too."

Cordelia thought about it. "Isn't Amelia in the prison, still?" She asked. Pierce shook his head no. "No. I let her out two weeks ago and told her to leave." Pierce said. Cordelia bit her lip lightly. "If you really want my opinion then I say we should get rid of it. Then there's really no point in having it. Or better yet, there's quite a few children here. Renovate it and make it a school."

Pierce hummed. "That's actually not a bad idea." Pierce said and looked around the table. "What do you guys think? Renovate it and make it a school?" Pierce asked. There were murmurs and a ripple of yes's. "Well, okay, then. It's settled. We'll start renovation tomorrow morning."

Everyone got up and started to leave while Pierce and Cordelia walked back into the house. "That was a good idea to make the prison a school." Pierce told Cordelia as he hugged her and lightly kissed her neck. Cordelia yawned and set her head on his chest. "I am so tired." She sighed. "Well let's go to bed." Pierce said and led Cordelia to the bedroom. She laid down on the bed and fell asleep instantly while Pierce stripped to his boxers and laid down.

Pierce laid there, wide awake, for a long time. He had a lot of thoughts running through his head. But one kept popping back up.

Cordelia and her pregnancy.

Ever since he found out that she was pregnant, he couldn't stop worrying that something would go wrong with the pregnancy. Like what if she or the children get hurt in some way? What if something happens where Cordelia has a miscarriage or if the children are stillborn? He knew that, that doesn't happen all the time, but for the last two months, he barely got any sleep because he was worrying. He knew it wasn't healthy but he just couldn't sleep or stop worrying.

"Pierce? Why are you still awake?" Cordelia's sleepy voice asked, pulling him out of his train of endless thoughts. Pierce turned to look at her and sighed. "Just couldn't fall asleep. I'm fine. You need to sleep, Dels." He told her quietly and lightly rubbed his thumb over her cheek.

She looked up at him. "You're not fine. I know you haven't been sleeping well, Pierce." She told him. Pierce gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about me, love. You just rest. I was just thinking." He told her and lightly kissed her lips, his barely touching hers. Cordelia sat up and sighed. "I do worry, Pierce. I worry because I care. And I love you." She told him as he started to sit up.

"I'm not someone to be worried about." Pierce sighed, avoiding Cordelia's eyes. "Why say that Pierce?" Cordelia asked him. "You know why." Pierce told her. "No. I don't." Cordelia said. She was getting aggravated. She really didn't know what he was talking about. "Pierce. Is something bothering you?" She asked him. "If it's the pregnancy, I'm worried about that too."

"It's just not your pregnancy. It's everything else. What I did." He said and ran his hand through his hair. Once he met Cordelia and started trying to be a better man, he instantly regretted everything he did. It haunted him ever since. He felt so bad for what he did. Even if he didn't before.

Cordelia sighed. "I'm sorry you feel that way. But it's alright. Okay?" Cordelia said and grabbed his hand. "No it's not." He said shakily. "Yes it is. It happened. Oh well. It's in the past now." Cordelia said calmly. "I still love you."

"Stockholm syndrome. You have Stockholm syndrome." Pierce said. Cordelia narrowed her eyes at him. "I have no idea what the hell that is, Pierce." She told him. Pierce sighed. "I kidnapped you when we met. And now you're saying you love me. You feel empathy towards me. That's Stockholm syndrome." Pierce said and got out of bed. "Where are you going?" Cordelia asked him as he started getting dressed. "I just need to go for a walk." He huffed and left the house.
