Summary

Carter Chase lived a life full of recklessness and abandonment.

She was an outcast to society due to her individual traits. She was a mutant, and a powerful one at that.

As she begins to situate herself into a new life surrounded by new people, she finds her home amongst them as she deals with the demons of her past that continue to haunt her.

Relentless in their inner workings Carters past tries to pry its way back into her mind divulging all she's worked so hard to forget in her time of solitary when things finally seem to be going right for her.

Having to deal with such mundane things like Parental figures and body image, she neglects to remember who she really is, who she always will be.

In her own eyes Carter Chase is an abomination, a monster, and all she really wants is to be normal.

In which Carter Chase finally finds out who she really is.
