THE RETURN
Ellie had grown sick of planes a long time ago, and she really did not enjoy being confined in a tiny space for twenty two (or so) hours. Thanks to summer, the sun in Sydney was lightly dancing over the horizon, despite it being fairly late at night.
Her body wasn't feeling jetlag yet, thank goodness. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Her body was starved of sleep, but she'd consumed enough caffeine on both flights (and the stopover in Dubai) for her not to notice it at all.
