The Dimensional Quest Part I: Journey To The Infinite

Chapter 14

The three heroes drag themselves into a hotel room.

"So much for three people being able to find the next pieces huh?" Daffy says.

"I said there was a better chance." Kitty corrects.

Amethyst looks with her half-open eyes at the alarm clock beside one of the beds.

It reads 1:05 AM.

"Goodness, we searched almost all night." she yawns.

"Well, I'm going to spend the rest of it sleeping." Daffy grumbles as he gets in one of the beds and is quick to start snoring.

Kitty and Amethyst also go to sleep, hoping the next day they will be able to make progress in the search.

Jack Rabbit sits in a jail cell, with a piece of chalk in hand, ready to mark the first day of his sentence of being confined.

Then he hears the door open, and a black horse with holes in her legs trots in.

Her hair looks like dry seaweed, and her horn is crooked.

The guard is quick to point his weapon at her.

"Freeze!" he shouts.

"I'm so sorry! I guess I'm lost!" the horse claims, trying to sound innocent.

"I said freeze!" The guard orders again.

"Please, can't you see the pleading in my eyes for you to help me?" the horse asks.

"All I see is green." the guard says.

"Look closer." the horse tells him.

Suddenly the guards eyes turn green, and he stands still.

"Now, let this rabbit out of his cell." the horse instructs.

The guard complies and he unlocks the cell.

Jack Rabbit stumbles out and looks at the horse.

"You're not going to hypnotize me too, right?" he asks.

"No. In fact, I want you to help me with something." the horse says.

"Who are you, what are you?" Jack Rabbit wonders.

"Does that honestly matter? What is important is that I want you to help me with conquering every world that exists." Queen Chrysalis reveals.

Jack Rabbit's ears twitch up and his eyes widen.

"Tell me more." he says.

"There is this gem of infinite power that a talking duck, pony, and cat are looking for. They are using a map to find its location. I think its in both of our interests to take the map and take the gem for ourselves." Queen Chrysalis explains.

A despicable grin forms on Jack Rabbit's face.

"Let's do it." he says.
