The Dimensional Quest Part I: Journey To The Infinite

Chapter 17

"Uh...what is that?!" Daffy exclaims.

"Buffoon!" bellows the possessed building.

"Mother..." Daffy sputters as his pupils shrink.

The clown-faced building takes a swipe at them with one of its new arms.

However, just before impact, five girls zoom into the monster with a heavy blow, sending it backwards and crashing onto the ground.

It gets back up, and the five girls, all wearing differently colored dresses, levitate.

"Glitter Force, Sparkle Storm!" shouts the one in the pink dress.

"Glitter Force, Sparkle Fire!" adds the one in the orange dress.

"Glitter Force, Sparkle Shot!" yells the one in green.

"Glitter Force, Sparkle Lightning!" calls out the girl in yellow.

"Glitter Force, Sparkle Blizzard!" finishes the girl wearing blue.

They release beams the color of their dresses, which combine and hit the monster.

Then in a flash of light, it vanishes while bellowing "Buffoon!" one last time.

Kitty, Daffy, and Amethyst's jaws are dropped after seeing the action.

They see a wolf wearing a street jacket grumble then vanish.

The girls cheer after defeating the monster, then they see the others.

They walk up to them with confusion on their faces.

"Are you alright?" asks the girl wearing pink.

"Yeah...that was amazing..." Kitty says, barely able to speak the words.

Daffy and Amethyst say that as well.

"Thanks!" thanks the girl.

Then the girl wearing yellow runs up to them.

"A talking pony! A talking cat! And a talking duck! Wow!" she squeals.

"Just when you think things couldn't be more strange. I thought buffoons were the oddest thing I'd ever see." says the girl wearing orange.

"Where are you from?" wonders the girl in blue.

Neither Daffy or Amethyst remember how to speak.

Kitty slaps both of them to take them out of their trances.

"Oh um...we come from places far away-" Daffy begins.

"Can you help us find the gem of infinite power?!" Amethyst interrupts.

"Huh?" asks the girl in green.

"There's this gem of infinite power we're looking for. Right now our competition is ahead, and they want to use it for evil. We'd appreciate your help." Kitty explains.

The girls look at each other and form a huddle.

"A gem of infinite power?" asks the girl in yellow.

"It sounds like it is important that this gem is found." the girls in blue inputs.

"We're the Glitter Force! We'll do whatever we can to prevent this gem of infinite power from being used for anything but a happy ending!" says the girl in orange.

The others nod in agreement.

"We'd love to help! I'm Emily!" pipes the girl in pink.

"I'm Kelsey." adds the girl in orange.

"I'm Lily." says the girl in yellow softly.

"I'm April!" greets the girl in green.

"I'm Chloe. Nice to meet you." finishes the girl in blue.

Suddenly, a white little creature with blue eyes, and yellow puffs of hair on her head, appears out of Emily's book bag.

"I'm Candy!" she says excitedly.

"Aw! She's adorable!" Amethyst remarks.

"What is she?" Daffy asks.

"She's a pixie, from a place far away, like you." Emily tells them.

"What are you?" Amethyst wonders.

"She's a human. Have you never seen one before?" Daffy asks.

"No, there aren't any in my world." Amethyst explains.

"Nor in mine." Kitty adds.

"I'm Kitty Katswell, she's Amethyst Star, and-" Kitty says.

"And I'm the hero, Daffy Duck." Daffy interrupts.

Kitty rolls her eyes.

"Well, let's go find this gem of infinite power!" cheers Candy.
