Morning babe 😘 I'm outside 👍🏽

I knew Char was upset about the Lola stuff. I mean her "K" was all-telling. I don't really know what else I can say to her to make her understand that it's one-sided. In her defense, I did think I was in love with Lola once upon a time but that was ages ago and it's basically a non-issue now. I really don't want to fight with Char because this past week I've barely seen her and now that it's the weekend I can finally spend time with her again. I don't want to tarnish that time with us arguing over something as pointless as Lola.

I looked out my car window and saw Char exiting her front door and locking up. She scampered down the steps and towards my car. She climbed into the passenger seat.

"Hey," I said with a smile. I leaned over for a kiss.

She kissed me softly and then buckled her seatbelt.

"Hey."

Okay? That's a little bit weird.

"So where would you like to go for breakfast?" I looked over at her.

"I actually already ate," she fiddled with her fingers.

"Oh. Uhm. How about we go to some stores and maybe buy some stuff?" I didn't know what to suggest. Her off mood was throwing me off too.

"Whatever is fine," she said.

I nodded and started the car. I guess we're going to Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills. I know she said there were a few shops there that she would like to visit.

As we drove, my phone lit up with a notification. Char looked at it.

Psycho Lola
Hey babe, thanks for getting in touch 👅 text me for a time & place and we can catch up.

"You got in touch with her? You told me that you never responded back," Char noted.

"I only responded to tell her to stop texting me," I said.

"Then why did she say to text her a time and place for you two to meet up?" She asked.

"Char, I don't know. She isn't exactly the most sane person. I don't know why she does half the things she does. You can check if you don't believe me," I glanced at her then focused on the road again.

Char unlocked my phone and navigated around. Her eyes scanned the screen and then she looked in my direction.

"You told her you're flattered by the attention?"
