Today, the doctor put me in solitary,
because of yesterday. I wouldn't
recommend it to anyone who despises the
dark; there are no windows and no
furniture. The ground is dirty and the
humidity in the room makes it feel wet to
the touch.
I crouch in a corner with my legs against my
chest. Tears fall free and I'm left with the
past reality I'll ever know.
Soon, the noises return. Like a scratch
against the wall. A cry in the air. Even a
laughter that sends chills up my spine. The
darkness is returning.
