It might not have been a party but it was undeniably a sight to look at. A ten feet high ceiling of curved dome was illuminated with rainbow lights with no prominent source. They were lighted in just thin air. Twinkling stars illuminated the walls like a holographic image, the walls were purple in shade , an unusual shade and still it looked beautiful.

The hall had no windows and yet it was cool to the right point. In the center of the hall was an altar, made of black marble surrounded by a silver chained fence. Though everything was absolutely stunning, Ayduin's mind had no appreciation for anything there.

As he made his way to the altar, Aislin kept quiet, not sure how to put our awe in words. He then lifted his head and nodded at a gorgeous girl. Aislin had a surge of jealousy she kicked away.

The girl had coal black hair, jade green eyes; skin flushed pink, a shade of caramel. She was perfect to her waist but then her skin was a horrible shade of blue and with fish like texture. It was no suspense, she was a Mermaid guardian. Her hair that was tied in an elegant bun was contained by a sapphire blue pin shape of a trident.

This was not an important detail but seconds later she pulled out the pin and it transformed into a full-fledged trident. It was a challenge and a warning.

Then Ayduin's eyes followed to the drinks table where a man with super tanned skin stood with a red drink in his hand. He took a sip and then flame flickered on his finger tip, he heated the drink and again sipped it wilfully. He was lanky, tall with sleek oily wine red hair and amber shade eyes. He smiled a crooked smile at Ayduin, the smile never reaching his eyes.

They were not on best of terms, their behavior towards each other made it clear.

Warrior of Volcano. Ayduin introduced him.

He looks like a ninety sixty's villain though. She said the partial truth and partial disgust.

His name is Kamron Solway, I have met him once at a gathering at our palace.

It is amazing how we can still talk like that, there are no barriers here. She said still in awe of things she was seeing.

This might not be long though since as soon as I will go through the ritual we will come to know what magic barriers are created on me. He said rather depressed.

The depression was mutual.

Oh come on! We have talked even after all the barriers and conflicting thoughts. The Little ritual will not harm us. She said feigning confidence.

She had no idea there will be something like that. It felt like some difficult exam was going to start and she had no idea what she should write.

Ayduin kept quiet and this was a discouraging response.

"So finally you are here. Wow, I have learned a lot about you. You are as handsome as said." A chirpy, overexcited voice said.

Aislin noticed a slender girl with bubblegum pink hair smeared with glitter, greyish blue eyes that actually sparkled maybe due to her glittered eyelashes. She was small in height, almost five feet with really long mane dangling behind her.

"Reseda, the Enchantress," Ayduin said completely ignoring the two stunning beauties in front of her.

He just acknowledged them respectfully.

Aislin noticed that as she walked closer to Ayduin, Reseda was a fairy, she had glass sheet-like wings also glittering. They were so transparent that one could see through it, it seemed really fragile.
