❝ consequences ❞

"you can be discharged next week since your bruises still needs care," the doctor gave sarang her normal check-up, informing the person who's in the room with her; and that's jungkook.

he nodded, thanking the doctor as the doctor left the room, leaving the atmosphere silent. "how are you and samantha?" sarang asked breaking the silence but immediately regretting what she had said.

"i didn't date her for real, it was forced," he chuckled, making her even more confused. "she threatened me that she'll hurt you if i don't date her,"

sarang nodded, mentally sighing in relief, knowing that they didn't date for real; but for a stupid threaten.

"i was thinking of taking this to the police. i seen her taking drugs while i was walking by the back of the school. plus she also physically hurt you," he said, a frown plastered as he said the last sentence, his hands on hers making her heartbeat faster.

she couldn't utter out any words, but sat on the bed, with her head leaning on the headboard, listening to him silently.

their talk didn't last long. the door flung open, making jungkook release his hands from hers while he sat properly.

jina came running into the room, hugging the patient tightly. "i was scared to death oh my gosh," jina mumbled, making sarang chuckle and patted her back.

yoongi came in not long after jina, waving at jungkook as the younger did the same. "she needs to stay here a little longer due to her bruises," jungkook inform, making the two nodded.

sarang and jina talked the whole time, giving jungkook the opportunity to tell yoongi about what's happening.

he whispered the whole situation to him, yoongi's blood boiled but he stayed calm; at least for his beloved cousin.

yoongi fished out his phone, dialling the police station as he said samantha's case. "please come by the police station tomorrow by nine in the morning, we will need to investigate this," the policeman from the other line said, making yoongi agree and ended the phone call.

"who's that?" sarang asked, "you already know," jungkook said. sarang did took some time to get what he meant, and she finally did.

it was already around ten at night when the two went home, jungkook agreed on staying, even though sarang insisted not to. but jungkook was too stubborn to listen.

"i'm going to take a shower," he said, grabbing his towel and shirt with him into the bathroom.

after what seems hours, he came out of the shower with a pair of white tee and grey sweatpants; along with his messy, damp hair making him more attractive.

he ruffle his hair with a towel, placing the towel aside as he made his way beside her bed.

"samantha will deserve the punishment for what she did right?" sarang said, making jungkook nodded.

"she didn't even think about the consequences for her actions," jungkook said, making the girl chuckle.

her eyes felt heavy, drowsiness started to take over her. jungkook noticed as he tucked her into the blankets, planting a kiss on her forehead.

"good night" he muttered, smiling as he lay down on the couch, and soon drifted to sleep.
