Once I tried to smile, I frowned instead.
I may seem alive, but deep inside I'm already dead.
I saw how you gazed at that person so lovingly.
How I wish that person was me.
Can you hear my heart calling out your name?
Your heart is what I wish to be next for Cupid to take an aim.
A silent cry, crystal tears fall from my eyes.
I wonder if it's warm enough to break the ice?
Listen carefully, maybe then you will hear.
A silent melody played just for you, my dear.
You are the star that I may never reach.
But I will do anything in order for you to hear my speech.
For I am the poet who uses love as an ink.
I am the poet who will never let your heart sink.
If you choose to be my lover, I will shower you with words that are true.
Words that are so true, for they are written and spoken just for you.
If you choose to be my lover, I shall be your shield.
A shield that will protect you in this battle field.
If you choose to be my lover, you shall be loved and cherished.
For you deserve a love that will never perish.
Your grieving heart shall be filled with joy.
For I will love you truly and never treat you like a toy.
But if you choose to reject these feelings, do not feel sorry.
For your honesty is what will make me truly happy.
A broken heart is the last thing that I wanted.
But if it's you, it is fine, for you are my beloved.
I am a poet and this is my vow.
I shall make you happy, even if it means losing you now.
I'd rather see you smile at the one who holds your heart.
Instead of stealing you away and tearing your heart apart.
I am a poet who speaks of love, tragedies, sadness, and pain.
I shall continue writing even if my inspiration is lost once again in the rain.
I shall love you and prove that forever is true.
Yes it exist, I found out from the moment I met you.
This vow shall never be broken, for it holds a value greater than gold.
It shall remain in my heart until I grow old.
