Song for the chapter

Prime - The Seige

Colby's POV

Music was blaring through the house.

Bouncing off every wall as we gathered everything with a volume button on it.

It was around 8ish and the girls had all just left.

My girl.

We had a suprise in stock from them.

A big suprise.

Something that none of have done together yet as a whole.

One big family..

We were celebrating, being reckless and childish since the girls weren't here.

Usually we would be getting in big trouble right now.

But Aaron had agreed to drop them off,

And they weren't here so..

It was a complete last minute thing but we thought..

SEND IT

fucking send it..

Ronnie's POV

We pulled up to the nightclub on Boulevard,

"Thank you so much for covering for us," I sigh, full of guilt as I leaned over the gear stick to hug him,

"It's alright but it's this one time only!", Aaron protests trying his best to stand his ground.

I kiss his cheek and pat his chest,

"We will see about that.." I whisper as I hop out the car.

I shut the car door and I hear a beep behind me as I start to walk away from Aaron's car.

The outside of the club was humid and bodies were everywhere.

Some breathing and some barely.

I spun around to look back at Aaron.

He rolled down the window and ushered for me to come back.

So I did.

I walked back over to the car and leaned against the open window.

Devyn, Amanda and Katrina were already going in so I had to be quick.

I listened in to what he had to say,

"Just please- be careful okay? Colby or let alone any of the guys will never forgive me if something happens to you guys so please- just make sure-", he rambles on and he is making a completely valid point.

Aaron and I have been through thick and thin together.

He was like the older brother I never had.

Or that I now did.

I knew that if I wanted something to get done,

He would be my guy..

"Aaron. Safety is my middle name!" I exclaim, cutting him off as I walk backwards, throwing my arms in the air as I keep my stare on Aaron.

Smiling the biggest and happiest grin,

"I swear to god Ronnie!" He chuckled as he sped off.

I laughed to myself and spun around so I was actually walking in the right direction.

I caught a few looks and stares, here and there.

But I simply did not care.

Tonight was about me and my friends.

Devyn.

Amanda.

Katrina.

And partying.

Something I frankly forgot how to do, I miss it.

Living on the edge and being wild.

Breaking the boundaries and living beyond the norm.

I strut past the long-line and right on in.

The girls waiting on me at the other side of the door.

We all link arms and head in.

Walking in at the top of the steps that led down to the main floor,

"Do we have to? Oh god..", Katrina mumbled full of newly found regret.

I quickly snap my head towards them and glare at them wide eyed.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I was in shock and disbelief,

"Ladies! When was the last time you felt free?" I say, hopefully motivational,

"I got 3 scoops instead of 2 at the ice cream parlour down the road the other week," Amanda said too excited,

"Ugh you don't understand!",

"Come on, we are us! If a dance floor filled with gross and intoxicated people scare you, then you truly never have lived!" I encourage.

I was feeling super confident today.

Like somehow today.

Tonight was the time I started learning how to live again.

How we all start to live again,

"Its time we start to live!" I screamed out loud and just as I hoped.

They followed me as I ran into the crowd.

We danced and spun around like teenagers again.

We completely lost ourselves in the music and the whole vibe.

I was in my prime.

In my element..

..i was alive.
