chapter 13

Your POV

I was packing some clothes for the sleepover I have with Ally.

I was quietly humming a song, minding my own business when I heard someone arguing downstairs.

When I was done packing, I planned on leaving immediately.

I know I always brush off me being punched by my own father but deep inside I'm scared shitless to be alone with him or my mother or even Troy.

I don't understand why they hate me so much.

I decided to leave immediately because I hear my so called parents arguing about some dumb shit downstairs.

I made sure to lock my room.

I put three more extra lock to make sure no one comes in.

I carried my bag quietly and went downstairs.

"I told you, we need to finish work here first before leaving" my father explained to my mother.

"Well Troy said he wants to leave this place. We know how he hates people here" my mother said.

I quickly ran to the front door and put my bag down.

Crouched down and put my shoes.

The front door suddenly opened and I stumbled back.

"Watch it, bitch." Troy spat at me and he went inside.

"Mom, I want burgers" he demanded and I look up and I saw my mother stopped arguing and greeted their precious 'son'.

I roll my eyes and I took my bag.

As soon as I got to Ally's house, I was greeted by Jerry.

"Hey, cool guy."

Jerry laughed and he hugged me.

"How are you?" He asked and I shrug.

"Eh I'm good, I guess. Where's Ally?" I asked.

"Ooh eager are we?" He winked and I laughed.

"Oh shush. So where is she?" I asked.

"She's in her room. Don't make too much noise though. I think she's asleep." He said and I gave him a thumbs up and I went to Ally's room.

I slowly opened her door and I saw her sleeping peacefully.

I smile and set my bag down.

I took off my shoes and I slipped under the covers beside her.

She must've felt someone get in her bed, because she groaned and stretched her body.

She slowly faced me and looked at me with a sleepy smile and droopy eyes.

"Hi." I whisper with a smile.

She didn't say anything and she just cuddled me and went back to sleep.

Almost half of her body is on top of me and her face is buried on my neck.

I wrapped my arm around her and scratched her back softly.

After a many minutes I felt myself getting sleepy.

Eventually I fell asleep.

I woke up with someone poking my cheek.

I groan and opened my eyes.

Ally's giggling at me while poking my cheek.

"Hehehehe."
