He didn't know what was happening.
It was unreal, just another dream within a dream, he couldn't comprehend how reality differed.
The girl whose presence changed his life- her lips were barely millimeters apart from his; and the distance was closing in. To him, everything was moving in slow-motion, and the room had a glow it didn't quite have before. The state of his mind was half crossing that thin line between incoherent chaos and utter stillness.
Although he finally registered what was happening, it eased the nagging of his conscience just as much as the tinting of his cheeks. Which, needless to say, was little, if it did at all. But no; These matters weren't what occupied his thoughts, not at all. He barely even paid them any mind- That was something he could do later.
But now, the only things that his world revolved around, was [Name].
The smell of her hair, the size of her quivering lips, her rosy cheeks.
Her.
He knew he had to stop himself, he didn't deserve the reality presented to him. Not at all. The light that cleansed his soul and brought meaning to his life, she didn't deserve him. [Name] deserved so much more than just... Him. Just being within a 10-mile radius of her was a sin that he could never been forgiven for, he knew that. And yet...
He, and the guilt that was eating him whole, couldn't stop himself from contributing to the lessening of distance between the essence of his life and himself.
Just as her lips were close enough to finally meet his-
"Komaeda! Thank God! You're finally..."
A pause.
"Awake..."
Cue the widening of the trio's eyes, the hitching of breaths as well as the crimson of their cheeks.
[Name] let out a surprised 'eep', while Komaeda was simply too shocked to let out anything more than a strangled gasp. And as if the half confused and blurred expression, he couldn't really find a way to describe her face at that moment (other than utterly adorable, but that he'll keep to himself), wasn't enough an indication, but the string of barely recognisable words that spewed from her mouth was enough confirmation that had [Name] been some sort of being with wires and such within her brain, they definitely short-circuited.
Although he supposed being relieved was the more appropriate thing to feel, he couldn't help but feel an overwhelming wave of disappointment. But he couldn't let himself dwell on the nagging feeling any longer than a second. He had something else to focus on instead. More specifically, the shared recognition that flashed in [Name]'s and his eyes, as well as the same words that simultaneously left their lips in a single rasped breath.
"Hinata...kun..?"

Uwahhh~! Sorry, I just had to. But don't worry, they'll have a kiss scene at a much more fitting time. What's more fitting then when they finally meet and are both awake and aren't in some sort of coma and have wires plugged into their bodies for once? *I have absolutely no idea, find out when I do, I guess*
Oh~! And I'm so so so sorry for the inactivity. >< Thank you for all your comments! Please continue leaving them! I love reading them and knowing people actually enjoy reading my shit for once.
