Phil's POV
I went for my morning walk and then out of nowhere there was lots of fog. Everywhere. And it was cold. I couldn't see a thing. I kept walking anyway. I brushed against a wall.

I had to double-take. I took a few steps back, feeling my way around. I felt a door knob. Thank god. I didn't even think and opened the door. It was unlocked? Was anybody there?

I pushed open the door hesitantly just to see an almost empty small room and in the corner was a bed. On that bed was a figure. It was definately human. A human person. And seeing as they were on a bed I assumed they were asleep.

I quietly slip off my shoes, hang up my jacket, and sit by the fire to get warm. I rubbed my hands together, loving the heat. In about two minutes I heard some rustling. Oh no.

Dan's POV
There was a slight movement behind me. I wanted to push my pillow over my face and forget it, going back to bed, but I knew I should just get up. I tossed and turned for a moment. I pulled myself out of bed.

I checked the clock. It was ten th- what was that? My eyes bolted down. That's when I saw it. Who was that? Somebody was in my cabin. I blinked, unsure of how to feel. I saw jet black hair. And blue eyes. And a flannel shirt. Thunder claps.

"I can explain!" He exclaims, pointing at the window. "I was walking and I couldn't se-" oh no. I did it again.

"I'm so sorry." I say "you must be freezing".

"Wh- wha?" He seems confused, straightening up. "But you aren't mad?"

"Of course not" I start "I'm so sorry, you had a good reason to come inside."

"But it's not your fault" he says. Little does he know. I pat his back. I offer him a coffee and he sits down. Why not get to know him? "I'm Daniel by the way, but you can call me Dan."

"Oh hi, my name is Phil" he says, holding his hand out for a handshake. I weakly shake his hand. Phil.

I look down and realise I'm still wrapped in a blanket. He glances down. "Erm..."

"I'll go change" I say.

"Good thinking."
