With the guys gone I was ready to start my plan of escape. I went to my room, into the closet and grabbed a backpack. I filled it up with some clothes before walking back downstairs. I put the bag on my back, heading to the back. When the clock turned to eight o'clock, the guards were changing, just as Sam said. I quietly opened the door, looked to the left then the right, then started running to the tree line. Running low to the ground I was almost there. As I just made it to the tree line I heard a gun being cocked.

"Turn around." said a deep voice belonging to a male. I put my hands up in surrender, slowly turning around. With the gun still pointing at me, he spoke: "Miss, I am going to need you to return inside with me."

I put my hands down slightly, quickly glancing at the gun. "You see I would...." I then grabbed his wrist, twisted into him quickly and got the gun away from him. I pointed it at him. "But I need to get back to my brother. Now on the ground...slowly."

He did as I said crouching on the ground. As I was about to run, I heard three more cocks of guns. I turned to see more men pointing guns at me.

Merda

"Put the gun down miss." I held the gun in one hand setting it on the ground. The guy on the ground stood up and grabbed my arm.

I shrugged him off. "Let me go, I'm going back." he let me go but kept close to me as the men escorted me back inside. I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. They came in after me and positioned themselves a few feet around me. I rolled my eyes.

Madi came downstairs, looked at us and laughed. "I got her boys go back to your posts."

They were about to argue but she shut them up with a glare. After they left the room Madi came and sat down next to me. "Escape attempt didn't work?"

I sighed. "Nope, but I was pretty damn close."

She laughed. "Well better luck next time."

"Why are you and Sam helping me? I mean you work for Jason."

She rolled her eyes. "We don't work for him, Sam's married into this and I'm just here I guess. We both understand you don't want to be here and you don't deserve to be. We both like you but we won't force you to be here. It isn't right and I guess we just want to help make it right."

"Thanks, and if I get out, I'll be sure to keep in touch." she smiled and gave me a hug before going into the kitchen.

Time for a new plan...

I went upstairs to my room and shut the door. I sat down on the bed and tried to think. I got up and walked over to the window. Looking down, I saw there was only his window on this part of the house and grass on the ground. The room was three stories up and the tree line was a straight 50 yards ahead.

I looked at the bed then back to the window. I smirked to myself. I ran to the bed, ripping off the sheets. I tied the ends together in a double knot then tied another end to the far leg of the bed.

Putting the back of my legs against the window, I tested to make sure it could hold my weight. When I knew it could I swung my leg over and sat sideways on the window sill. Pushing my right leg against the side of the house, I pushed myself away, bringing my left leg and body out of the room. Jumping slightly, I rappelled myself down the side of the house.

The sheets ended at less than ten feet above the ground. Closing my eyes, I jumped down and rolled when I hit the ground. Kneeling on the ground, I surveyed the land in front of me. There were no guards close by, so I took that as my chance. I ran straight all the way to the treeline. I got to the woods behind the house without being spotted.

My victory was short lived when I once again heard a gun cocked. I sighed and slumped my shoulders. Turning around I put my hands up. "Yeah yeah I know the drill."

He nodded and followed me back inside. Madi was in the living room when we got back to the house. He nodded at her and went back to his post.

"How'd you get out?" she asked.

"Climbed out through the window," I said as I sat down next to her.

"Smart, sorry it didn't work." I shrugged and turned to the movie she was watching.

I will find a way out, no matter what...
