I try my hardest with much effort to hold in tears, but it was too hard. I release a few, but then I notice, Mackenzie, who is bursting with tears.
It was time for Lauren to go. Not that I wanted her to.
My favorite sister. Sorry Darian and Maddie, but I was closest to Lauren. Lauren had a good life; she was sweet, she was kind, she was hilarious, she was a pure genius, she was talented, and most importantly, the greatest sister. She will forever and always be in my heart.
Unfortunately, Maddie or Dad wasn't here to experience Lauren's last moments.
Her last words to me; "I'll love you forever, John."

"Mackenzie, Johnny, you guys can go. We'll deal with this." Mom says
"But-" I say
"It's okay, John. We'll do this." Darian says
fast forward >> at the orlando's residence, johnny's room
"What do you want to do? I want to get things off my mind," I ask
"I don't know," She says as she brings the blanket onto her body, lessening the amount of blanket space I have on the bed.
"Can I sleepover? I'm too lazy to go back to my house, plus, I want to be with you, you're going through some rough stuff. Everyone is," She asks
"Sure." I agree
"Wanna watch a movie?" I ask
"Totally! Can we watch 500 Days Of Summer? Please!" She pleads
"Fine," I say
It's been about 45 minutes throughout the movie and she's already falling asleep as I wrap her in my arms. I turn off the TV so she can sleep pleasantly. She changes her position from her back facing me, to her chest facing me. She looks at me, and there was a moment of silence.
"Goodnight, John." She says, soon after, she pecks my lips.
"Goodnight, Kenzie." I say
Luckily for her, she's one of those people who fall asleep the moment they lay their head on a pillow. I am definitely not one of those people.
"Hug me, please." She says, her eyes yet still closed.
"Okay." I say
And for those hours, the position was like that. It felt like heaven.
I soon fell asleep, probably like 3 hours after she did.
