The Freezing

We freeze

while they are enveloped

in warmth,

heat, and fire.

Hues of blue

and purple

plaugue our skin,

covered in frost

clear and white

icicles

Extremities lost,

severed from our bodies.

No longer there

but remaining always

with in our hearts,

through pain

and aches,

all while they sweat

Heat nay warmth.

warmth of love

And furs.

Covering there skin

enough so they may roam

freely

openly,

naked to the world

and surrounded

by warmth

While we freeze

cowering in cloths

enough to keep us

modest

but never warm.
