Northern Downpour is one of the most saddest and most Ryden song due to the fact of what Ryan Ross told Brendon in 2008.

And also due to another fact that Brendon now cries and chokes on stage on this line "I know the world's a broken bone but melt your headaches, call it home" probably because of what Ryan told him.

"Sugarcane in the easy mornin' weathervanes my one and lonely" Sugarcane, as you may know, grows in the summer. It all goes around the time of summer. Which makes me wonder what happened in summer...

In the chapter of Sun And Moon, I say that in the beginning of Panic! Ryan was the sun and Brendon was the moon. Because, Northern Downpour is written by Ryan Ross (and Jon Walker) and it would be selfish of Ryan to say "Hey me, please forget to fall down." So he's talking to Brendon. I mean, look at it. First he says to Brendon to pay close attention to I know the world's a broken bone but melt your headaches, call it home then he told Brendon to forget to fall down. Sounds like Brendon was in a rough time and Ryan was telling him to know that things get rough but just make it all better and don't go down on yourself. It doesn't matter if he was telling Bren as a friend or lover, Ryan was a true friend because lover's can be friends.

"Look back at both feet and that winding knee I missed your skin when you were east you clicked your heels and wished for me." As you probably already know what happened in Seattle, Ryan could've missed Brendon so Ryan flew out in the night back to Seattle because Brendon wished for him. And NY, which is where Ryan was when he left his girlfriend and flew to Seattle, NY is east of Seattle [I think]. So it's similar. Ryan missed Brendon, Brendon said he wished Ryan was there with him, Ryan went to him.

"If all our life is but a dream," really speaks to me because it kinda sounds like Ryan is saying that if they're life was a dream, they could be together as a cuple anywhere. And that Ryan thinks that his life is a dream because of his real dream of being in a band, came ture.

And it was raining on the day Ryan flew to Seattle to see Brendon[DOWNPOUR], and the moon was 92% visible[HEY MOON].
Strange? I think yes.

I don't know but a lot of people keep saying that "omg why are you even crying about Northern Downpour? It happened 10 years ago." And "omg stop u Ryden trash." And my answer to that is, yes, I am Ryden trash but the reason that I cry to Northern Downpour is because Ryan's and Brendon's voice just mix so well, and we may never hear them sing together ever again and the other reason is because what if Ryan and Brendon we're in love? And then all the shit happened and they could never show there love in the public eye? They never had the chance to tell everyone, just a few and they just got so tired of it so they just broke it off?
