You play with your fingers unsure of whether to believe your husband or not.
You two were married.... Well technically you two eloped because his parents weren't in favor of his decision to marry you.
Reason? Well you happen to be the daughter of one the most influential businessman in korea and hoseok's father definitely have had issues with your father in the past.
Typical cliche drama as you always called your life but the truth is the truth be it dramatic or not....
They already had a girl in mind for hoseok at the time but he was reluctant to marry her for he has always loved you.
Although as time passed they accepted your marriage but his parents, especially his mom doesn't accept you completely, even during occasions it's just formal hugs and ignorance..... That's how your relationship with your in laws is like.

Now you are pregnant with his kid. It's the end of your first trimester now and hoseok insists that you two should tell them the 'news'

"I don't think it's a good idea I mean I'm not prepared yeobo" you speak sadly
"Look y/n we have to tell them sooner or later" he takes your hands and intervenes his fingers with yours, "and I'll be there for you jagi and and I swear if they say anything against y.."
"Hoseok you can't say that, they are your parents after all"
"I know and I respect them but I respect you too. I just can't afford to hear anything against my dearest"
You look at him in awe, pondering how lucky you were to have this beautiful man as your husband.

"You sure I'll be able to face them?" You question him
"I'm positive" he says cheerfully

"Don't worry babe" he holds your hand as you two stand outside your in laws home, waiting for them to open the door.
He was about to peck your forehead when suddenly your mother in law opens the door, she immediately frowns looking at you.
You bow down at her, "you don't need to do that right now yeobo. Don't stress yourself, hmm" he whispers
You nod
"Eomma are we two just gonna stand like this? Let us in" hobi says while smiling at his mom
She smiles back looking at his dear son.
"Aigoo come in" she holds hobi's hand leaving you alone by the door
Hoseok lets go of his mother's grip and runs towards you, "come on in yeobo" he holds your hand

"Aniyeo eommonim, this wasn't necessary" you say as she brings you two fruit juice and some snacks to eat.
She doesn't reply anything and looks at hobi, "so hoseok-ah how's work?" She asks him cheerfully, "I hope people aren't burdening you much" she fusses over you a bit

"That burden is carrying your grandchild eomma" he says calmly

"Bwo?" She looks at him surprised
"Well she's going to be a mother soon eomma but seems like you can't get enough of hating over her for nothing!" He half yells, you press hobi's hand firmly, asking him to stop

She looks at you softly and bites her lips, "is this true?" She asks you monotonously
You nod happily

She gulps, "come here" she gestures you towards her room

"This used to be hobi's" your mother in law shows you a small box that contained your hubby's clothes, toys from when he used to be a toddler.
A tear escapes your mom in laws eyes, "I've always wanted to become a grandma" she sniffs, "today it's you who's fulfilling it for me. Thank you"
"Aniyeo eomm...."
"Mianhe" she starts crying and you look at her worriedly
"Eomma?"
"Mianhe y/n I've been so cruel! I hate myself for treating you so badly! I... I wasn't like this at all I...I don't know why...."
"Eomma" you hug her, "we all make mistakes.... We are humans after all and it's okay to make mistakes as we only grow out of them" you see your husband looking at you two while leaning against the doorframe while you still hug your mom in law.
He adores the sight and gives you an assuring smile.

"Y/n-ah thank you so much for coming here today. I hope we will start it all afresh from today onwards"
You nod, "ne eomma" you smile

"See that's why you should always trust your husband" hoseok says while cuddling with you in bed
"Yeah you're my Mr. Right" you coo and kiss him
"No a small peck won't be enough" he pouts
"Okayyyyy goodnight yeobo" you laugh realizing his desperation for you
"Yaah! I need my gift for today!" He whines
"Umm..... How about no" you laugh
"Umm.... How about yes" he starts showering you with kisses
