Part 36: Searching...

{Kaden's Pov}

I paced in front of the castle awaiting for my mate as a bored Sam stood on the side of the door watching me with a frown.

"You do know they've only been gone for a few minutes right?" He asks with his arms crossed as I kept glancing between him and the front gates of the castle,

"I know, but there's this feeling I ha-" before I finished he cut me off,

"You say that every single time she's not by your side! Why don't you go do us both a favor and take care of your son" He says as I scoffed,

"His grandpa and uncles are already hogging over him right now" I replied keeping my eyes on the gates in case someone comes running in alarmed,

"Dude! Nobody's coming, they're just going to have fun tonight Kaden let loose man" he says as I shook my head,

"Something doesn't feel right, I know it" I say staring foward as I hear him groan before sitting down on the steps,

"Is the-" before he finished my head snapped up when a loud alarm went off,

"Alpha!" Our beta shouted running towards the gates as I raced towards him opening the gates before the guards could,

"What is it?!" I shouted as he took a deep breath before telling me,

"Your fiance is missing" he says as my eyes widened before my wolf ended up letting himself out with anger,

"We're sorry" I hear my mom say through our mindlink as I let out a loud growl before running towards where my mother was,

"She was literally with us a few minutes ago" My mates mother says as my father stood in front of her turning to see me with a frown,

"We have other wolves searching for her Kaden,  we'll get her back soon" he says as I paced around them annoyed,

"Wait!" My mom says with a gasp as everyone turned to her,

"There was a guy" she says with a burp as I noticed now she was drunk along with my mates mother as I rolled my eyes,

"She didn't know how to skate and some good looking dude came and helped her" she says as I snarled at the thought of some guy being with my mate,

"Oh yeah!" My mates mother says with a gasp, 

"He was staring at her all googily eyed and stuff before she went to go sit down with him over there at that dark area by the rink" she says pointing to the edge of the rink as I rushed over there and sniffed around only to find the pair of skates she had on,

"Wait!" My dad says standing next to me as the others that rushed over looked at him confusedly,

"There's a smell here that I can never forget" He says as I looked at him confusedly before he picked up a scarf that was by one of the trees in the woods,

"This isn't good" Our beta says sniffing the scarf as I wait for them to tell me what their talking about,

"Our war isn't over yet" My father says as my wolf growled loudly,

"Get every wolf in our pack that can fight and make sure they're ready to plan the attack towards the Vampire King" He says as I went with our beta to get all the wolves we can find,

I turned back into my human form putting my clothes on before trying to mind link my mate.

"It won't work" My father says standing in front of me as I look at him confusedly,

"The day your mather was taken from me by those blood suckers I couldn't mind link her because of the silver they had her trapped in. The bars that they hide the wolves they take are powerful and weakens the link the wolf would have with their mates, or anybody for that matter" he says as I growl while pulling at my hair pacing the room as he sighs,
