As her 18th birthday was coming close, Hermione started to notice a change in her appearance, longer hair, darker skin, brighter eyes. She didn't think much of it till her 18th birthday when everything took a different direction than she had planned!
It's been one month since the new law was added and the fight between me and Ron occurred, most of the couples were doing well, some already married, they probably didn't want to have to stress over it too much. It was a Monday, and I woke with Draco's arm wrapped round my waist. I smirked, his blonde hair was messy and covered his face, never in a million years did I believe I'd be this happy to wake up beside Draco Malfoy
"Good morning princess" he muttered, sitting up and kissing my cheek "Morning" I replied "what time is it?" He asked "6:30, I'm gonna grab a shower and get ready" I replied with a smile on my face "take as long. As you need" he replied I got up, grabbing a towel from the closet and walked into the bathroom, I turned the shower on allowing it to heat up. I undressed and stepped in, the warm water felt nice on my skin. I washed myself and got out, drying off and wrapping a towel round myself, Draco was waiting on the other side of the door, he gave me a kiss and headed into the bathroom to get a shower.
I picked out my outfit and began sorting my hair out, I had recently gotten a few pink streaks in it, they were nice against the black, I done my makeup and headed into the common room.

Harry was sitting with Luna, going over wedding plans by the looks of things "morning guys" I said happily "Oh good morning Camilla, how are you?" Luna said in light tone "I'm good, thank you!"
"I was wondering Camilla, if you, Lilly and pansy would be my bridesmaids?" She asked with a slight sparkle in her eye "Of course! I'd be happy to Luna" I felt privileged she thought of me "milla you ready" Draco spoke from behind me "yea let's go get breakfast, we've potions first!" We walked out hand in hand, down to the great hall. Some still hadn't gotten over us being together but the teachers smiled every time they seen us, we grabbed breakfast and headed to the dungeons of potions.
"Today, we will be brewing the cosmic love potion, can anyone tell me what it is?, ah miss zabini!" Slughorn said "the cosmic love potion is a love potion which when drank will allow you to identify your partner just by a smell, the smell is usually something you love, it was used to allow husbands to keep there wives safe when they left for a certain amount of time in the 1980s!"
"Well done miss zabini! 20 points to Gryffindor!" Slughorn spoke again "the ingredient list and directions are in youre book, you have 1 hour to complete the potion with your partner!" Draco turned to me "right I'll get the ingredients and you set up the cauldron?" "Okay, be quick" I replied getting everything ready. We were half an hour in and needed to add the last ingredient "we need some of our own hair" Draco spoke, he lifted a pair of scissors and cut a strand of his hair and added it to the mix
"may I?" He asked, I nodded and he cut a strand of mine and placed it in the mix as well, we mixed the potion and called Slughorn over to check it "perfect 5 points to Slytherin and Gryffindor! the potion needs to sit for the night so use are free to leave once you have cleaned up" we quickly cleaned up and headed out the door to are next class.

Draco's POV
The rest of our classes flew by and before I knew it, it was dinner time, me and Camilla finished up quickly and headed to our common room, we could hear shouting coming from inside "They haven't stopped since they returned from class" snape began "it appears to me, that Mr Weasley had a part to play in it" Milla said the password and when we stepped in the common room was a mess and Ron had pansy against a wall
"Ron! Put her down! what the fuck is wrong with you!?"Camilla yelled at him, he dropped her and Camilla ran to her side, taking her up to our dorm "What the fuck man?!" I spoke, he shot me daggers "she caught me cheating, she was going to tell Mcgonagall ,if the ministry found out they'd strip me of my magic, I had to put her in place" he spoke to me with such a smirk...it was almost like he was proud of what he had just done!
"So you abused her! WHAT THE FUCK MATE! Rot in hell you asshole" I spoke again walking out the door straight to the headmistress' office, he must of picked up on this as he tried to send a curse my way, I blocked it without even turning round, sending one his way and walking on. I arrived at her door and spoke the password "Hogwarts houses" the door opened and I went in "Draco, how are you?" Mcgonagall asked "Fine professor, I would like to report an assault case between one of the couples in my room" I went on and told her everything, including what he done to Camilla
mcgonagall contacted his parents along with the ministry, Camilla came running in, obviously having the same idea as me " Professor *gasp* Ron *pant* abuse" she spoke between catching her breath "Thank you for the concern, miss zabini, but Draco here has told me everything" i looked at Camilla with a smirk "oh.." was all she said I thanked the professor and took Camilla back to our common room, to see a unconscious Ron in the middle of the floor "What happened?"
Was all I could say without wanting to laugh "Cami tried to leave, he wouldn't let her. I had just came up from dinner when I seen him blocking her from coming close to the door, so I shot him with stupefy" was all Blaise said, all I did was nod and walk up to my room to see pansy asleep on my bed, I picked her up walking her to her own room, when I put her back to bed I could here more shouting from the common room, I walked in to find the minister of magic there and Mrs & Mr Weasley hugging Camilla
"Draco, how have you been. I know your parents are doing well, I went to see them last week, they do hope you come home for the holidays" the minister said
"That's nice" was all I said walking over to where harry was "you okay?" I asked "I...I can't get over how much he's changed...abuse and using unforgivables. I don't know who he is anymore" was all harry could say, he then walked right over to where the Aurors had Ron handcuffed "you know mate, we used to be best friends! Me you and Camilla, we saved the world...yet you let fame and greed claim who you truly are and for that...I hope you get what you deserve" he said, shoving Ron on his way out the door, Camilla went running after him
I sat on the couch with Blaise and Lilly. Observing everything that was happing.

Harry's POV
I couldn't take all the commotion, I just needed time on my own, I said what I needed to say to Ron. Who I probably won't see again and left "Harry!Harry slow down!" I could here her shouting in the background "Harry James potter so help me god if you don't stop I'll tell Snape on you!" She spoke with as much authority as she could but ended up laughing, I laughed as well
"Are you okay Harry?" She spoke walking over and taking my hands "He was our best friend and now I barely know him, what happened to the boy we grew up with Camilla, what happened to our best friend?" I asked "I may be the brightest witch of our age harry, but I'm afraid I can't answer that...He was such a happy child...then the war...the money...the greed.." she spoke most of it a whisper, we sat on the steps
I placed my arm round her "do you remember 6th year...when we sat here and you cried telling me how you wanted to kill Ron for being with lavender " I laughed "then you sent them birds after him" she giggled, putting her head on my shoulder "we'll survive without him harry, you know that right? We'll be the golden two if we need to be" she said, I gave her a hug "I know, it just won't be the same. Will it?"
