"Stop staring at my mom."

Nishinoya's shoulders raised when the kids voice was heard from behind him. He turned around and had to took up slightly to make eye contact with the still growing boy.

"I wasn't doing nothing of the sort." Nishinoya jabbed out, crossing his arms tightly over his chest.

"That's a double negative." Alex prodded, tilting his head and making his wavy hair flip over to the side.

Nishinoya huffed, tightening his arms as he looked to the gym floor.

"Grr, you-"

"Alex?"

Before Nishinoya could try to rebuttal, you had made your way over water battle in hand.

"Drink. Do you have any homework?"

Alex shook his head as he untrusted the bottle cap, "finished it at school yesterday."

"Good. I have to head home. Nari is having trouble with something. I think there's a new baby coming in. If I'm not back by the time you're finished ask someone to drive you over. Okay?"

Alex nodded with a quiet 'okay' when Nishinoya cut in.

"(L/N)-san I could drive him home. That way you don't need to worry about."

You finally turned your attention to the man that had been giving you his attention for the last few hours.

"Are you sure? I could always ask Sugawara, I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

"No it's okay I'll do it. You should get home and deal with the trouble going on there."

You nodded, adjusting the strap of your bag on your shoulder. "Okay, I'll see you at home Alex." then you were off. Running to the door and trying to get home as quickly as possible.

"Stop staring at her it's creepy."

"Well sorry if I think your mom is pretty, I can't help it!"

There was a small pause of silence between the two and the sound of volleyball hitting the ground as players practiced behind them.

Nishinoya looked at Alex as he still stared at the door.

"Hey, kid. Do you think if I asked your mom out on a date, would she say yes."

Alex grummbled and let his shoulders slump forward, creating the look of a gorilla.

"I'd force her to. I don't think she's ever been in a relationship, even if someone liked her, I don't think they ever had the guys to try." he said before tilting his head back and taking a swig of water.

Nishinoya nodded before putting his water on the bench and hitting Alex gently on the back.

"Come on. We have a game to play."

When you got home It was only around 12:30 and you could hear Your kids eating and running around upstairs. But the desperate sounds of a woman crying overpowered them tenfold.

At the back of the main floor, next to the candy desk, Nari stood in front of what seemed to be a young lady who was visibly crying.

"Please I don't know what to do." she begged shoulders shaking.

You placed your purse on the desk and made your way over.

"Hello, hi. Please, come sit." you gently pushed the young girl to a small table with chairs behind the counter. She sat down, cradling a baby in her arms, whispering to keep it from waking up to her tears.

"My name's (L/N) (Y/N). Would you like something to drink?"

The girl, who seemed to be around the age of 17, nodded and adjusted the position of the sleeping baby.

Nari grabbed a glass of water before running back and placing it on the table.

"What's your name?"

The girl held the glass to her lips as she took a quick sip before placing it down with a light clink on the table.

"Yuna, this is Koari." she said gesturing to baby boy in her arms.

You nodded, using your arms to ask to carry the baby. Yuna handed you the child as you sat next to her. You nodded to Nari asking if she could go watch the other kids.

"So," you said bobbing the little boy in your arms, "what happened?"

Yuna leaned back in her chair letting her long black hair fall over her shoulder.

"He's my little brother. My mom was in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend and he was the product." she paused for a moment, taking another sip from the glass the sat in the middle of the table. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, trying to dry the never ending tears.

"He's a few month old, and luckily hasn't met his father. But once he was strong enough my mother sent us away afraid of what Would happen should he show up again. I hopped on a train and came here from Tokyo."

"And you came here looking for help." you added once she had finished talking.

You smiled gently, as if not to scare her off, and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Well, I'm always looking for help, and what one more baby, when you already have 20?"

The teary eyed girl smiled, lifting her arms up weakly. Using an empty arm you pulled her torso over the armrests and into a hug. Yuna squeezed tightly but made sure not to squish her brother in the prosses.

You let go of the hug and brushed some of the hair out of the girls face. Your hand rested on her cheek and brushed over her gentle and round cheekbone.

"How about we go upstairs and you can meet the family. We can set you up with a room and get Koari a bed also. And my son will be here later today and you can meet him then."

She nodded and let you guild her up the turning staircase to a load of children that would be bouncing off the walls to meet her.
