After my talk with these bandits making sure that they made a lifetime oath to listen to my orders and left them a tracking device as well as a device to contact them like a phone, so that if I needed them, it was easy to communicate to them.

Once they tried to destroy or throw this device, it will sound its alarm and alert me of their action and they'll know what will happen to them. When they heard my warning, they shivered and hug each other and look at me with those coward eyes then repeatedly nodded at me and promise that they'll have no any idea of disobeying my order.

I look satisfy with them and dismissed this eight chicken before I continue my journey.

It's already noon when I arrived at Hoffman City branch guild. Hoffman was the name of one of the five main city of Valkhyne province, our fief, and the city where our main ancestral mansion located.

According to Mr. Anderson brief introduction about adventurer guild, there will be a branch in each city or town accordingly and whether in what place you are, you can report or get a job from any of this branch but where you first admitted will be your permanent guild except if you get transfer into other guild branch.

Father also warned me about becoming adventurer because there are some wanted criminals from other countries or places that hiding as an adventurer. He said that you can register as an adventurer on whatever background you have. The guild won't pry about your personal problem and background as long as you followed the guild's rules and regulations. Everything about you is classified as highly confidential and you can change your name and register it as long as you want.

When I look at the guild building, I was amazed. It was like an old cathedral with some moss and vines around the walls showing it hundreds of years of history. Inside the building is a bit messy and crowded due to the adventurer coming and going out of the building. In the counter, there was a long line of persons who wanted to register as an adventurer as well.

I patiently waited for my turn as I don't want to have a dispute to any person.

"Hi little boy, how can I help you?" asked to me by a gentle oneechan with a long, straight, silver hair and blue eyes, and a watermelon-like front.

"Can I register as an adventurer?"

"Did your parents know about this? If yes, can you show your waiver?"

I showed to her my father's letter.

When she saw my letter, she was shocked at first then calm in just a second like it never happened. Obviously, the letter showed my real identity because of Duke Valkhyne's stamp on it.

She nodded at me and started explaining everything I needed to know.

"Every child at the age of eight to ten years old can register as an adventurer as long as they have a waiver from their parents or guardians, and they will only starts as a rank F adventurer. Their quest are only to gather herbs outside the city border or the safest location for children, and or they can kill a first grade horned rabbit along the way.

"There are different adventurer rank started from the lowest rank, Rank F or known as children rank, to the highest rank, Rank A. There is also higher rank than Rank A and it was Rank S and Rank SS but most of their quest are confidential and only a powerful figure can reach that rank. If you can become a hero and will be recommended by three different guild masters and a monarch, which was the only time you can reach that rank.

"To level up your rank, you needed to complete your quests and earn as much points as possible to the pre-requisite of the certain rank. The quests are posted in the bulletin board over there, only Rank S and Rank SS missions are not there because it was either too dangerous for an idiot adventurer to take or confidential.

"You can also level up by completing a higher rank mission but it was risky, so, if I were you, don't try to risk your life until you have enough experience as an adventurer.

"Those failed quests will make demerit your points plus you will need to pay 10% of the reward prize of the failed quest. So, as much as possible, make sure that the quest you get has your full grasp to accomplish.

"To get an adventurer identification card, you'll need to fill up the form then stand in this magic circle to take your whole body picture. Drop some of your blood in your I.D card so whenever you lose it, it will automatically return in your hands.

"So, here's the form" when I saw the form, I started to think what name I shall use when Watermelon oneechan notice me, "You can use a pseudonym. No one cared whether you use your real name or not, or whatever background you have since everyone here are equal and started from lower rank until they level up on their own strength.

"There are rules in the every guild and that is no one is allowed to ask question about the background of the adventurer or his (her) private life as well as their mana capacity, magic level (warrior level) and abilities unless the said person tell you and there is no exemption, even the higher ups and guild master. So, even if you're a criminal, a runaway child, no one will care about you. You are under the guild's protection that means you should abide the rules of the guild. Once you've been banned from guild, you can no longer register as an adventurer around the world"

Wow. That was awesome.

Then let's fill up the form.

When I finished, I gave the form to Watermelon oneechan and stand in the magic circle where an unknown drawing (runes) written on the floor, it lights up for a second and then Watermelon oneechan gave me the I.D.

It was metallic-like square shape I.D bronze color card engraved with eagle. Just what she said, I immediately drop a blood on the beak of the eagle and it slightly shone then a word showed under the eagle, and it was my name. On the back, my other information was written.

Name: Miu

Age: 9 years old

Job: Archer

Weapon: Bow

Adventurer Rank: F

Party Name (Permanent): n/a

Party Rank: n/a

Yup. I used Miu as my pseudonym because it was my previous life name. Kosaki Miu

"Remember Miu that every time you get or finish a mission, you need to tell the staff so that we can record your achievements and get your reward. If you didn't do it, it will not be counted. If you lost or damage this I.D card, you'll need to pay 10 golds, of course, it rarely happens, almost impossible.

"Your I.D card also serves as your money crystal card. All your reward money will be send in your I.D card so you better take care of this,

"And if you ever join a party or your party disbanded, you also need to tell the staff so we can update your information and I.D card. Only the permanent party is acceptable. You don't need to tell us if you'll form a temporary party for a certain mission, are we clear?"

I nodded and shyly asked, "Ano, w-what if I am a member of a party, how will I raise my rank?"

"The quest points will be divided by your group. It's up to your group on how will you divide the points and rewards to each member. The party rank will only rise if your party passes the guilds assessment every end of the month and for the individual rank, it will be depends in your earned points, individually"

After she explained all I needed to know, I said her thanks and left to check for a mission that I can take.
