Roselia's POV

Nothing happened. Nothing spectacular happened. Other than that kiss we had where we were basically begging on our knees for each other, of course. The good thing silly ole' logical me came back and injected a high dose of common sense. It was a roller coaster of emotions when it did. Let me put it into words;

'ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?'

'Hmmm... you're talking so I must not be.'

'YOU ALMOST DID THE DO. THE DO THAT WAS DONE BY ADULTS.'

'Okay?'

'IT'S LUST.'

'Totally normal.'

'*Sirens wailing*'

Lust made absolute sense. I haven't had bodily contact as I had with anyone else other than Jasper a few seconds ago. The only thing that made me enjoy it was the overwhelming lust I had over his shirtless body, no feelings attached! Maybe we could develop our fake relationship to strictly friend with bene-

'No!'

Right, bad idea. His kiss was already addictive as it is, imagine something more. I wouldn't be able to get through an hour of class without dreaming about his abs or touching him.

'You almost gave him your V-card there!'

Then it hit me. I almost willingly gave up my virginity to him! If Ash didn't stop us there, we would've continued. Imagine the consequences if we did. I would feel guilty after knowing that the only reason I gave it up was because I was caught up in the heat of the moment. And so was he. I wanted the person I share it with to be attached with me; I wanted my first time to be special.

But he took my first kiss and I enjoyed it tremendously. Did that mean he was special enough?

We were nonchalantly walking towards the living room. His broad back was the only thing I could focus on. I raised my hands in the air, the burning ones which touched his bare chest. Memories of the hard ridges of his body still lingered at my fingertips and it itched to come into contact with his pectorals again. Did he also feel the same?

Before I could touch his clothed back, we reached the living room and I dropped it.

"Jasper!" Ari cheered over her shoulder as he arms wrapped around Kade's neck; a position I also familiarized myself with. Just now.

"Dude." Evan neared Jasper's wounded body and gave him a bro hug.

"Hey." Jasper's cool tone did not die off.

"We're glad you're okay." Kade gave him another bro hug.

"Thanks for coming for me." Jasper glanced at me and mouthed 'not you.' Oh, his anger was back.

"Who were they?" Evan asked as he went back to his seat on the couch of their grand living room. Jasper also strained to bend his knee as he sat down on the couch and rested his right hand on the armrest. His tattooed arm bent to support his chin. I took a seat next to him, making sure to keep a safe distance. He eyed me curiously but reverted his gaze back to Evan.

Jasper stroked his chin in contemplation. "Mark's goons, I'm guessing. He's the only one confident enough to send 5 of his men to take me in plain sight."

Who's Mark?

"Why didn't you fight back?" Ari's tone pointed out the obviousness. "I know how you fight, Jace. You can take them."

His eyes shot to mine in an instant and blasted a freezing ray of liquid nitrogen into me, chilling me down to my spine. "I was..." His voice trailed off. "compromised." His head turned to the confused group. I was confused as well. Based on the glare he wore, he didn't want any more information to be revealed.
