I really can't believe this fool.
First he tells me, "You better not drink! You're too young!"
Then the nigga gets drunk himself?
You're unbelievable Adam. Unbelievable.
I stare at him as he sleeps. It's kind of nice, he has his left arm firmly around my waist. My index finger traces his chest as it rises and falls.
We did nothing you nasties.
He slowly wakes up and groans. He palms his forehead and sighs. "Shit, my head hurts."
"Serves you right." I say, I get up and stretch.
"Well I'm just gonna get ready for class." He says and sighs.
"Can I go to class by myself without a child following my shadow today?" I say, crossing my arms.
"For one, I'm not a child. Two, I'm supposed to be everywhere you are." He said.
"From the looks of last night, you're definitely a damn child. But fine, I tried." I said.
He walked away, I finished getting ready for my 10 a.m. class and snuck out. As soon as I got downstairs, I received a text.
This irritating man: you move, you die.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Reggie was at the desk, he looked up and smiled. "What's up kid?"
"No sir, not today." I snapped and turned around.
"Hey, don't get mad at me just because his ole aggy ass told you to stay here." He said.
"You better watch your mouth. He might be lurking around the corner." I replied.
"Ain't nobody scared of that man." He said with a chuckle.
Adam skipped down the stairs just as I suspected.
"You used the stairs? You literally live on the last floor in this tall ass building!" I said.
"Don't worry about me. Watch ya mouth Reg." Adam replied.
He nodded his head and we walked out of the building. I just shoved my hands in my coat pocket and sighed. Adam was in front of me, walking at a fast and steady pace. I just rolled my eyes and continued walking until I reached my building.
"Bye." I mumbled.
"Bye bye!" He said, waving like an embarrassing parent. I rolled my eyes and walked in the building, walked into my classroom, and sat down.
Something feels a bit off.
I looked up and scanned the room. There were people slowly trotting in the room, casually talking amongst each other. I didn't know anyone in any of my classes, I just stay in my headphones and not bother anyone.
Well, hell has officially walked back into my life.
"Hello, Era."
