As her 18th birthday was coming close, Hermione started to notice a change in her appearance, longer hair, darker skin, brighter eyes. She didn't think much of it till her 18th birthday when everything took a different direction than she had planned!
I woke up a little later than usual, it was a Sunday meaning I could sleep in all I wanted. The other side of the bed was empty and I heard the shower running. It's not like Draco to get up early, I went to check the time and noticed a small sparkling box beside my wand, I picked it up and undid the ribbon on it, inside was the earrings I had seen the day before.
I looked between the door and the box and jumped off the bed, I opened the bathroom door and jumped on draco who had just gotten out "Thank you thank you!!" I shouted to him a big smile on my face "Anything for you love" he said kissing my cheek "I have a question for you" he said, he sounded nervous "what's up?" I said brushing my teeth "my parents want to meet you....today" he said, I spat my toothpaste out and started to cough "T..today? Draco I've nothing to wear, I'll not be good enough for them " I began rambling.
He came up and gave me a hug "love calm down, I've also left another little present in your closet, that you can wear with your earrings. I had pansy help me" He said smiling "o..okay" I said kissing him and going into the shower. When I got out I went and looked in my closet to find another box with the name of some fancy French designer name on it, I opened the box and lifted out the dress in utter amazement, it was beautiful!. It was a deep red, and it came with a silver clutch and black heels.

"DRACO!" I yelled, he walked in with a suit on "yes my love?" He said innocently "theyre gorgeous...wait how much did this cost?" I asked looking over the dress again "price doesn't matter when it comes to you princess" he said lifting my face to meet his and leaving a small kiss on my lips "now get changed quick..and don't do to much makeup, you don't need it" he said winking and walking out, I got changed, the dress fitted perfectly, pansy has good taste I thought to myself.
I straightened my hair and then done soft curls at the bottom. I did little makeup like Draco said and grabbed my wand, purse, phone and handbag. I met him In the common room to find pansy and Lilly sleeping infront of the fire "ready to go?" He whispered, checking the time on the watch I got him over the summer "Yea" I whispered back, we left and headed to mcgonagalls office. When we arrived she wasn't in but there was a note saying to go ahead and use the floo system.
Draco took my hand and shouted Malfoy manner. When we arrived I felt a shudder hit me, all the memories here. I looked down at my arm and quickly covered it with a concealment charm which I forgot to do that morning, I hope Draco didn't notice "the manors been updated and is a lot brighter, especially since Lilly's back!" I nodded and he took my hand walking me to the door, he opened it and walked in. It wasn't dull anymore, the main entrance was a bright yellow and the stair cases were marble white.
"It's beautiful.." I whispered. Draco looked down and smiled "Draco darling is that you!?" I could hear a women shout "yes mother" He shouted back, a lady came running into the main entrance, she wore elegant green robes and her hair was up in a bun "oh my dear I missed you, how is your sister?" She asked bringing him into a hug "she's..fine" he hesitated slightly "And you must be Camilla dear, nice to meet you I'm Narcissa Malfoy, But call me cissy" she said cheerfully bringing me into a bear hug
"it's so good to finally meet you!" She said brightly, I felt my nerves float away when I seen her smile "you too" I said "Lucius! They're here, come down from the study!" Cissy shouted, we could hear tapping of feet coming down the stairs and when I made eye contact with him, it felt as cold as ice "Draco. Son, how are you" He asked walking over and patting his back "I'm good father, thank you" He replied dryly. I don't think they've truly made up "And you must be my new daughter-in law. I'm very happy to have you in the family Camilla" he said kissing the back of my hand "thank you" I said as happily as possible, I felt Draco put his hand on the small of my back as if to calm me down
"well come on then, I've made us lunch! Then you can show Camilla here round the manor if you'd like Draco " Narcissa said happily, eyeing her husband and my uncomfortable-ness.
"Thank you Nar..cissy that was amazing!" I said smiling at her. "I'm glad you liked it, Draco told me it was your favourite" she smiled "well why don't I take you round the manor, if that's okay with use?" Draco said asking his parents "I would like to ask her a few questions draco...if that's alright" Lucius said, I heard Narcissa tell him not too "Camilla dear, we were informed that you had a glamour charm placed on you, would you tell us who you were before" he asked, a slight sly smirk on his face
Draco's arm wrapped round my waist protectively and he reached for his wand "I..I was formally known as the muggleborn, Hermione granger" I said stuttering slightly, his smirk grew wider "oh, and do you still have the scar my sister-in law cut into your skin?" He asked laughing slightly, I felt tears brim the back of my eyes and I said I needed to use the rest room, Draco took me out of the room, but not before you could hear cissy telling Lucius how rude he had been.
Draco took me to what I guessed was his room, I walked in admiring the colour scheme, green. But not just one green, loads. They all worked well together "I know you don't need the bathroom milla, What was he on about?" Draco asked sitting beside me on his bed taking my hands in his "i..i don't know.." I said shakily. Draco just nodded and decided to not push the matter. We sat in silence for a long time thinking over things when he said it
"milla, I love you" he blurted out , it snapped me out of whatever place in my head I was in "y..you what?" I asked looking at him with wide eyes "I..I love you, and I know I said it when we had you know...but I fully a hundred percent know...I love you" He said cupping my cheek "I..I love you too draco" I said leaning in and kissing him, he deepened the kiss and laid me down on the bed, we continued making out for awhile and before I knew it we were only in are underwear, he stopped to catch his breath and then he began admiring me
"we better get changed Drake, we need to get back to Hogwarts" I said "we have till tomorrow morning to get back" he said smirking at me, muttering a quick locking charm on the door, so it can only be unlocked from inside, I then turned my attention back to Draco and stood up, he started at me in confusion, I stepped towards him and pushed him onto the bed so I was now on top. I leant down and whispered in his ear "then let's not waste another minute"
