"There...there are people here who hate me, who misjudge me, who even hurt me but, its my job to protect them, even if they don't want protecting." I stopped walking and used my magic to bring out a book. "Besides, I'm pretty used to be discriminated
, hurt, and..."
"That's the book you had at the Town of Playing Cards." Chronus curiously said with slightly wide eyes.
"Let me tell you something." I opened the book and went to the stairs and sat below Chronus. "Four elements. Four resources of the most powerful things that we need for life. Air, Water, Earth, and Fire."
"Air, water, earth, and fire?" Chronus said.
"Yeah." I said monotonously. "Air, Water, Earth, and Fire, the most pure elements known because all of them created life."
(A/N)- The four people are all 23 but different birthdays.
"Long ago, about 5 00,000,000 there once was different four people, one who lived in the mountains, one who lived near the sea, one who lived free, and the last one, was a person who lived near volcanoes. The one who lived near the mountains was a man named Adam, who was a farmer. The one who lived near the sea was a woman named Azure. The one who lived free, with no else to tell her what to do was named Anemone. The last one was named Agni, the one who lived near volcanoes. At first, they were normal people who didn't have such powers, Adam had the power of the Earth, Azure had the power of water, Anemone had the power of the air, and Agni had the power of fire. Agni was the most important person because his fire was hope for people. Fire is the power of destruction and life, without we be dead, with it we still be dead, fire was the strongest element out of all the elements.
At that time there was a tyrant who ruled, a very harsh and cruel king with his wife and two daughters. At first he created taxes, made demands that went so far,, and killed many people who disobeyed him. It might seem like it was a big deal to you but, it went worse from that, he created creatures, creatures of woe called Furies. Creatures that looked exactly like animals except bigger, stronger, and more lust for blood, the only way you can tell apart from a Fury to a regular animal is that if you look into their eyes. Eventually his greed got the best of him and his creations destroyed him, but not only that, the Furies went chaotic and destroyed, killed, and multiplied even more. Adam, Azure, Anemone, and Agni, fought these creatures to protect the citizens who were helpless against them. To the people who were protected by them were called Huntsmen and Huntresses because they helped slay Furies, but to them, they called themselves Elementals.
They people were so grateful that they wanted them to be the new rulers of the land and so the land prospered in new ways that the king never did. But the human beings we are, there were some who resented that the new rulers had these powers an with that they disregarded their rulers and turned their backs on them. The citizens called them many things that they weren't human, that they should die and they were a disgrace to humanity. Soon a war was at hand with the citizens who revolted and the ones who stayed by their rulers' side. Soon after, the son of the tyrant king, who was mistreated because he was the son of the king and a maid of the castle.
The son was named Henry, he was very different because of his mother and the way he treated during child hood. Henry reasoned with the citizens, but the citizens hated him because he was the flesh and blood of their original king. But even so, Henry proved them wrong as he said,
'Why must we fight, we are all equal here. They are not monsters, they protected you, benefited you, stood by you when the tyrant king, my so-called father, tried to kill you. I know that you do not trust me because I am the flesh and blood of that man who was cruel to all of you, BUT I am a different person. You say that this war was because of these people standing in front of you. If you say their monsters then HOW did this happen.' *Henry points to a burning building* 'Monsters didn't do this, we HUMANS did this to ourselves, because of our greed of power, our selfishness. Some people say that they want their children to grow up peacefully. IS THIS WHAT YOU HAD IN MIND, HUMANS BROUGHT THIS TO OURSELVES. WE LET THE FEAR OVERCOME OURSELVES IS BECAUSE OF WHAT WE SAW IN THESE FOUR. WE SAW SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM US. SO WHY ARE WE FIGHTING--BECAUSE THEY'RE DIFFERENT--BECAUSE THEY HAVE POWERS--WE CHOOSE TO DO THIS'
