Jade ran as fast as she could all the way back to the mayor's house. She sprinted to the tree by her window, and climbed up to the roof. She quietly went through her window, and closed it. She turned around to see her ten year old cousin sitting on her bed. "Hey Jade, where were you?" Jade sighed. She walked over to close the door. She set the box down on the bed.
"This is a box of all the things I've found laying in my room. If i find something and have no idea where it came from, I would put it in this box." Jade opened the box and pulled out the map. "Like this." She handed Henry the map, and kept digging through the box. She then moved over to her notebook. "And today, I drew this."
She opened her notebook to reveal a drawing of a boy. The boy in the drawing was around nineteen, but his eyes looked older. Henry looked at the picture. "Your pre-cursed self is trying to fight its way to the surface. This drawing is of your true love, Peter Pan." Jade traced the outline of the drawing with her finger. She then looked at Henry. "What do I hvae to do to get back to him?" Henry smiled. "I thought you'd never ask."
The next morning, which was a Saturday, Jade walked down the stairs with a handbag. She walked over to her aunt. "Hey, Aunt Regina, is it okay if I take Henry to Granny's for breakfast?" Regina nodded. "I don't see why not. As long as you don't go looking for trouble." Jade smiled, and walked over to the foot of the stairs. "Henry?" She called out. "Come on, she said yes." Footsteps could be heard heading down the stairs. Henry ran to the door and opened it.
As they walked, Jade noticed that Henry was heading to Mr. Gold's shop. She sighed, then followed him. "I thought we were going to figure out how to break the curse." Henry nodded. "We are." She looked at the objects in the store. A golden leaf necklace caught her eye. As Mr. Gold walked into the storefront, he noticed the two kids. "Can I help you?" Jade looked up. "Can I see this necklace for a second?" Mr. Gold nodded, and took the necklace out of the box. "Do you have money to pay for it?"
Jade rummaged through her bag and pulled out a credit card. "Do you take credit cards?" Mr. Gold smirked. "This isn't yours, it it?" Jade looked back at Henry, then back at Mr. Gold. "It's the card my aunt gave me." Mr. Gold skeptically took the card, then handed her the necklace. "Out of curiosity..." He began. "What made you want to buy that necklace?" Jade gulped. "Let's just say this reminds me of something from a long time ago." Mr. Gold nodded. He handed her back the credit card. "See you around, Jade." She smiled, and left the shop.
Once they were outside, Jade fit the necklace over her head. Once she did that, she got a flashback.
In Neverland, Juliet was sitting on a log when Peter Pan walked up to her. "Guess what day it is." Juliet sighed. "I don't know. What day is it?" Pan smirked. "You've been here for exactly a year, which means..." He grabbed her hand and pulled her up. Juliet looked at him. "It's my birthday?" Pan nodded, then reached behind his back, and handed her a necklace with a golden leaf on it. Juliet looked at it. Pan held out his hand, she handed him the necklace, and he put the necklace on her. Juliet smiled, and looked up at him. "I love it." She then wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed him.
Jade snapped back to Storybrooke and looked at Henry. "We're close." Henry smiled.
Later that day, Jade and Henry walked to Regina's office. Jade could hear talking, and she identified the voices as Emma and Regina. She walked ahead of Henry, hoping to find something to shield Henry from. Unfortunately, she walked in to hear Emma say something she never thought she would hear.
"It's crazy." Jade looked at Henry as he heard his mother call him crazy. "You think I'm crazy?" Emma turned her head, just noticing the young boy. Jade simply looked at Emma and shook her head.
Later that day, Jade noticed Lily was sitting on a bench, reading a book. Jade sat down next to her. "Whatcha reading?" Lily looked up from her book. "Gone With the Wind." Jade nodded. "Cool. Do you have any other books?" Lily sighed, then opened her bag to reveal many books. Jade gestured to the bag. "Mind if I look through?" Lily nodded. "Go ahead." Jade began to dig through the bag to find a book. "It's funny. I didn't think you were the reading type." Jade pulled out Les Miserables. "Well, you learn something new every day." She opened the book, and started to read.
Eventually, as the hour went on, Jade quickly became impatient. She closed the book, and placed the book in Lily's bag. "I'll see you later, I guess." Lily nodded, and Jade walked away.
