I wanted to tell Danni the truth. I tried to say it but I couldn't.

Mabey it's best if I stopped wasting her time. I mean, I shouldn't continue to lie to her.

I don't want to stop talking to her all together but Lonzo keeps on pressuring me to tell her the truth.

I look at my phone and I open the new message I just got.

Danniduhh💛💜: hey. Wanna video chat?

Bornballer🏀: I can't right now. Mabey later

Danniduhh💛💜: you always say later and it never happens. 😪😕

A frown makes it way to my face.

Bornballer🏀: im sorry. I promise we can later.

Danniduhh💛💜: okay..fine ig

Danniduhh💛💜: what did you wanna tell me earlier?

Bornballer🏀: its not important.

Danielle texted me back but I don't reply to her because I get a text from Lonzo.

Lightskinbro: I'm inviting Danielle to our next game.

Me: why?

Lightskinbro: did u tell her yet?

Me: no

Lightskinbro: thats why.

Me: im gonna tell her

Lightskinbro: when?

Me: soon. Just gimme time.

After work I go to Jack in the Box. I get some curly fries and a spicy chicken sandwich.

After that I go home, eat, and then I go to sleep.

About an hour later I wake up.

There are four missed calls on my phone and two new messages.

One call from Lonzo, one from Brook, and two from Ky. One of his calls is a video chat call.

"Fuck, I missed my chance to facetime him."

One of the messages is from Ky. It just says I'll call you later sleepyhead 💙.

The other message is from Lonzo.

Annoying: Hey Danny. I hope u ain't got plans on Tuesday.

Me: um, why?

Annoying : im inviting u to a Lakers game.

Annoying : unless u dont wanna meet the whole team? I mean, thats fine too.

Me: no nigga..im droppin whatever plans i have to go 😂. U sound hella sleep rn.

Annoying: alright.  I'll see u in a few days.

Annoying: make sure u pack extra clothes.

Me: okay. Will do.

I put my phone down and I run to my closet.

I look at some of my Lakers outfits I have.

I decide on packing my Lonzo Ball jersey and I pair of white ripped jeans for the game. I pick out a matching pair of shoes and I put them in my suitcase.

I also pack two other outfits and pajamas.

Later that day I decided on taking a bath.

I get my bubble bath and my candles. I light up the candles and start the warm water for my bath.

I get my speaker and phone and I put on Drake radio.

I strip myself from my clothes and I hop in my bath.

I let out a sigh as the warm bath relaxes my muscles.

I stay in the bath for an hour.

Once I'm out I wrap myself in my towel.

My music stops and I look at my phone. Ky is trying to facetime me.

I click decline cause I'm in my bath towel.

A few minutes later I get a text from Ky.

Kyky😂: So u just decline my facetime? Thought u wanted to video chat.

Me: i do its just im not dressed

Kyky😂: i dont mind 😉😉

Me: ur so stupid 😣

Ky doesn't reply and he calls me.

I answer his call and I put him on speaker phone.

"Wazzup Shorty!" Ky says happily.

"Hey ugly."

"Are you dressed yet?" He asked.

"Nope"  I say. I walk into my bedroom and I place my phone on my bed.

Ky whines. "Hurry up!"

"Why?" I asked him laughing a little.

"I wanna see my beautiful girls face"

My eyes widen.

Ky chuckles. "That came out wrong."

We both end up laughing and we continue to talk on the phone until I get dressed.

I make myself look presentable and then I find good lighting.

"You still down to facetime?" I asked Ky.

"I'm ready when you are" He says.

I send a facetime request to Ky and he answers.

Instead of finally seeing his face I see a ceiling.

I roll my eyes. "So, your just not gonna show your face?"
