Love is confusing. It can make you feel like you are free, happy and young forever. It can also make you feel locked in, alone and stuck. Love is sick, it can make you feel things you never thought you could but in both positive and negative. Imagine a world without love, everything would be a lot more simple, but would people be happy? No.

I fell into a deep sleep, already knowing it would be a horrible dream.

I was trapped in a room, bars surrounding me, all I could do was pace or sit on the cold ground.

'Daniel!' I heard somebody yell, making me glance up from the floor seeing Phil's face.

'Phil?!' I cried, running towards him, but he was holding something. I reached him and he whipped my face with the object making me call out in pain.

'You are so pathetic!' He cackled, as I winced in pain from the cut.

'Wh-what?' I mumbled.

'You are pathetic!' He screamed, 'You thought somebody like me, could love a loser, so ugly, so lanky and gross, bless your heart Daniel, you need it. You will never find somebody who could love you, I hope you are stuck in a vortex of loving but with nobody who loves you for the rest of your short life!'

I felt a tear fall from my face. He was so right.

-

My body swung up, as I woke up from the nightmare, the room was pitch black as I decided to stand up and get a drink of water. It was 4AM, fuck.

'You ok?' I heard, I turned to see Adrian standing, his eyes squinting from the light.

'Just- a nightmare.' I sniffed, I then realised I was still crying. He came over and wrapped me into a hug, squeezing me tight making me giggle.

'Wanna sleep in my bed with me?' He smiled. I nodded, placing my drink on the side and we walked back up to his room. We quietly climbed into his bed.

'Sleep well,' he spoke snuggling into me.

'You too.' I smiled, closing my eyes praying for a better dream.

-

'As much as I want to photo this and keep you both this calm, wake up!' My mum called, shaking us both. We groaned in unison and hid under the covers.

'Seriously!' She laughed.

'Fine!' Adrian stood up, but I stayed there for a few more minutes until I could adjust myself.

'Thanks by the way,' I smiled, ruffling his hair as I left the room, I headed to my room and got changed into my clothes deciding I didn't need a shower. I straightened my hair and hair sprayed, changed into the same jeans from yesterday and a different top. My checkered one.

'Toast?' My mum smiled as I was about to walk out the door. 'And don't forget your bag sleepy head!' She laughed, handing my bag and some food to go in it.

I pulled in my headphones and head out to the bus, I wasn't going to be late.

'Good morning!' Somebody shouted, I pulled out my headphones and glanced to the side seeing Phil smiling.

'Morning!' I smiled, as he leaned in hugged me. 'Sleep well?'

'Fantastically, you?'

'I had a nightmare, but after that I was ok.' I hid my face a little.
