I still haven't gotten a text from Ky. Its been three and a half weeks.

I decided on texting him.

Me: hey, ugly.

I wait for a reply and I never get one.

Kyle read my message but he doesn't reply.

Me: so your just gonna read my message?

Me: kyle? Are you okay?

He reads my message and doesn't answer.

I see Danielle's messages but I'm afriad to answer. I don't wanna talk to her like this.

I wanna tell her who I really am.

She keeps on spamming me with messages and I keep on reading them.

I try typing a message but I keep deleting the text because I don't want to tell her like this.

Me: Sorry I haven't texted u. Been busy.

Danielle

Liar😡: Sorry I haven't texted u. Been busy.

My heart races once I see the name Liar😡 pop up on my screen.

I change his name back to Ugly😂.

Me: its fine..

Ugly😂: how are you?

Me: im alright. Wbu

Ugly😂: Im okay. Been thinking about a lot of shit.

Me: wym? Wat r u thinking about?

Ugly😂: everything..

Ugly😂: us..

Me: what about us?

Ugly😂: ..

Me: Kyle..

Ugly😂: i needa know how you feel about me.

Ugly😂: Do you like me?

"Wow..he's getting strait to the point." It takes me a while to respond.

I have to think about this question.

I hesitate before I start typing.

Me: Like as a friend? Duh.

Ugly😂: no, Shorty. Like as more than friends.

Me: i did have feelings for you, but then you disappeared.

Ugly😂: oh

Me: why?

Kyle doesn't answer, instead he calls me.

I pick up the phone.

"I have something to tell you." He says.

"What is it?" I aksed.

"I can't tell you until you promise you won't get mad at me,"

I wait a second before I reply. "I promise."

He takes a deep breath and then there is a moment of silence.

Then he finally speaks. "I'm-um, I'm Kyle Kuzma."
