"Happy birthday princess!" I cheered, jumping into my daughters room and lathering her chubby and freckled cheeks with kisses.

"Go away mummy." She giggled, pushing my face with her little hands as I stared at her with my jaw dropped and playfully raised a brow.

"Looks like someone's not having a birthday." I joked, throwing her duvet over her head and going to walk out of her bedroom door.

"Mummy wait! I'm ready!" She desperately yelled, grabbing my hand and basically dragging me from the room.

Her eyes lit up when seeing all of her gifts, wrapped into fancy and cute paper and strategically placed on the couches and floor.

"Thank you mummy!!" She shrieked, hugging my legs and rushing towards the piles as I smiled and sat on the ground, taking photos and laughing with how cute she was.

A while passed and she had opened all of her presents from friends and family, most of them being from me. The final gift was the little gift bag from Tobi.

"Do you want to open uncle Tobi's gift?" I questioned to which she immediately nodded and threw the wrapping paper out. I was looking over her shoulder and smiled when there was a little black box inside.

She opened it and my heart sank when seeing a stunning necklace. She picked up the note and began reading aloud.

"T-to Sophia and mummy.. s-Sorry I'm not there b-but happy birthday. I-I love you loads and I can't w-wait to see you soon! Lo-love uncle Tobi." She stuttered whilst reading the note making me smile and clap down to her.

"Mummy there's another note for you!" She giggled, handing over a note as I pecked her cheek and began to read in my head.

"Stephanie, I know this comes as a shock but I may or may not know where Simon is. I'm his best mate and I know where he lives, he still lives in London but he moved in with JJ and two other mates. I haven't told him about Soph but I could get him to meet you. I'm sorry for not saying anything sooner. Love you x" I read in my head, tears streaming my cheeks as I smiled.

"Mummy are you okay? Why are your eyes crying?" Sophia asked, shaking my knee as I smiled and hugged her tightly.

"It's okay princess.. now! Do you want cake for breakfast?" I laughed, she nodded and rushed into the kitchen with me following close behind with the thoughts of why Tobi wouldn't have told me sooner on my mind...
